THE STATE OF OUR HEART AND MIND

COMMUNICATION is a very DIFFICULT

Thing=especially these days=

The days of texting=e-mail=

Cell phones=and who knows

What all

The tone of voice

Can't be heard=but even

IF we are in the same place

Is the MESSAGE received

In the same way

It is intended?

Communications can be MISINTERPRETED

And it is a matter

Of us=being in the

SAME state of HEART

And mind

“Take care=then=

How you hear” Luke 8:18

How we HEAR something

Depends largely on

Our STATE of MIND and

OUR STATE OF HEART

Are we happy?=are we sad?

What events just currently

HAPPENED in your life?

The state of our heart

And mind INFLUENCES everything

That happens in our life

EVERY communication

That we hear

“Therefore my HEART is glad

And my tongue rejoices

My body

Will also rest secure” Psalm 16:9

“CREATE in me

A pure HEART=O God

And renew

A steadfast spirit

Within me” Psalm 51:10

“Bind them on your fingers

WRITE them

On the tablet

Of your HEART” Proverbs 7:3

And SACRED SCRIPTURE

Is the same way

How we RECEIVE

And accept a given verse=

DEPENDS on the nature

Of our mind

And what we are HOLDING

In our HEART

Who knows EXACTLY how

Matthew=Mark=Luke= John=

And Paul

INTENDED certain Scriptures?

Who knows if we

Are RECEIVING their intentions

Exactly the same way

They were INTENDED?

It depends on the nature=the STATE

Of our hearts

The STATE of our minds

“I the Lord

Search the HEART

And examine the MIND

To reward each person

According to their conduct

According to what

Their deeds DESERVE” Jeremiah 17:10

“I appeal to you

Brothers and sisters

In the name

Of our Lord Jesus Christ

That all of you AGREE

With one another

In what you say

And that there may be

NO DIVISIONS among you

But that you may be

PERFECTLY UNITED

In mind and thought” 1 Corinthians 1:10

Dear Lord=I/WE PRAY that ONE

DAY we can all

BE UNITED IN LOVE

And that ALL of us

Can BE UNITED in LOVING YOU

And LOVING OUR NEIGHBOR
