QUIET TIME AND PRAYER

QUIET TIME AND PRAYER

Jesus loved his PRIVATE TIME

With his Father=he loved

His private time with God

And we should too=We

Should set some private time

ASIDE=every day=

To SPEND with God

The Father and OUR JESUS

“Jesus went up

To the mountain to PRAY=

And he spent

The night IN PRAYER to God” Luke 6:12

Everyone of our relationships

NEED NURTURING=

Every relationship-

Need some special time

For it to THRIVE

NONE more so than our

Relationship with God the Father=

And with Jesus=

FINDING quiet time in prayer

With God

Nothing tells us that

We are more COMFORTABLE

With someone

Than sitting ALONE in

SILENCE with someone=

Than just ENJOYING

The presence of someone=

Enjoying them=for WHO THEY ARE

“He makes me lie

Down in green pastures=

He leads me

Beside QUIET WATERS” Psalm 23;2

“I urge them-

First of all-that petitions-

PRAYERS-intercession-and thanksgiving

Be made for all people--------

For kings-

And all those in authority--------

That we may live peaceful

And QUIET LIVES

In all godliness-and holiness” 1 Timothy 2:1-2

“Rather it should be

That of your inner self=

The unfading beauty

Of a gentle and QUIET SPIRIT

Which is of great worth

In God's sight” 1 Peter 3:4

Nothing makes me

ANY HAPPIER

Than my ALONE TIME

With God the Father

I can just imagine

How happy JESUS WAS

When he was=ALONE=

And by himself

With his FATHER

What special times and moments

That must have been for him=

It might NOT happen

As much as we would like

It seems like something

In life=

Is always crowding us=

PUSHING the boundaries

But when it happens

It is a TRANSFORMING EXPERIENCE

That we never forget

“'I tell you'=Jesus replied=

'If they (his disciples)=keep QUIET=

The stones will cry out'” Luke 19:40

Lord=please help us to FIND

The QUIET TIME=in prayer

To spend with you

Today=and every day OF OUR LIVES

In the name of Jesus=and God=his HOLY FATHER=who is ALWAYS waiting for us
