FEELING CLOSE TO GOD

The FACT that it is

Mentioned here

Tells us something

ABOUT how important is is=To Jesus

 

It tells us that

He FELT CLOSE to God here=

It tells us

That he felt

COMFORTABLE to PRAY to his Father here

 

Comfortable enough

TO OPEN UP=his heart=

His mind=and soul

To his FATHER GOD

To pray

 

“For the Lord-

COMFORTS HIS PEOPLE

 

And will have compassion-

On his afflicted ones”                                                                                                     Isaiah 49:13

 

“……..who COMFORTS US

In all our troubles

 

So that we CAN COMFORT

Those in any trouble

WITH THE COMFORT

We ourselves=receive from God”                                                                          2 Corinthians 1:4

 

FEELING CLOSE TO GOD

How about you?

WHERE do you go

To get CLOSE

To our Father God?

 

Prayer was a PRIORITY

For Jesus=so was

HIS FATHER

So they should be

A PRIORITY=for us too

 

It was a PLACE

Of peace and solitude=

MOUNT OLIVES WAS=

Jesus felt=CLOSE

To the Father there

 

It is of LITTLE WONDER

That he went to Mount Olives-

This same holy place

The night=before he died

 

WHERE is your place

Of prayer?

What church or chapel

Do you go to?

 

Maybe it is a NATURAL SETTING

Like Mount Olives

Was to Jesus

 

Maybe it is a park bench

Or EVEN the ocean

Or place of water

 

Where do you go

To pray=to

FEEL CLOSE TO GOD?

 

“He tends his flock

Like a shepherd

 

He gathers the lambs

In his arms

And carries them

CLOSE TO HIS HEART

He gently leads those=who have young”                                                                     Isaiah 40:11

 

“I will bring him near

And he will come

CLOSE TO ME--------

 

For who is he=who will devote

Himself=to be CLOSE TO ME?”                                                                                            Jeremiah 30:21

 

Dear Lord=we pray

Help us to find=THE PLACE

We need to be

FEELING CLOSE TO YOU!

 

Just as Jesus did

In the Mount of Olives

 

FEELING CLOSE TO JESUS=and God=OUR HOLY FATHER
