REMINDING US=OF HIS LOVE

REMINDING US=OF HIS LOVE

Today we read a story

That is

ONE of my favorites

TWO FRIENDS=on the road

To Emmaus

“……..their eyes WERE OPENED……..”                                                                                        Luke 24:31

As we JOURNEY ALONG

In our life=

We SHARE with anyone

Who will listen

About the HARDSHIPS

We are enduring

We WONDER if God

Knows=or even CARES

About us

Then someone comes along

AND REMINDS US

Of all we need to suffer

To bring glory

To our God

Jesus REMINDS the two men today

On the ROAD to Emmaus

And he reminds us

EVERY DAY=of our lives

“But the ADVOCATE=the Holy Spirit

Whom the Father

Will send=in my name

Will teach you

All things=and will REMIND YOU

Of everything

I have said to you”                                                                                                          John 14:26

Jesus ACCOMPANIES US

Every day=through all

The ups and downs

Of our life

Even when he disappears

From our life

For awhile

HE USES the circumstances-

Coincidences=and happenings

Of our life=to REMIND US

That he is STILL with us

REMINDING US every day

Of his love

Accompanying with us

EVERYWHERE=that we go

As he was ACCOMPANYING

The two men=on the road to Emmaus

“And these signs

WILL ACCOMANY THOSE=who believe

In my name

They will drive out demons

They will speak=in tongues”                                                                                                 Mark 16:17

CHANCES are=most of us

Will never do these things

But as we walk

BY FAITH

And Carry our crosses

Jesus will be

WALKING WITH US

Every step of the way

REMINDING US=

OF HIS LOVE =for us

Just as he was DOING

With the two men

ON THE ROAD to Emmaus

We are=we have been

TRANSFORMED BY HOPE=

Let us become=DISCIPLES

Of his love too

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our EVER FAITHFUL Holy Father God!
