THE POSSIBILITY OF DIVINITY?

WHY is it that some of

Us recognize and SEE GOD in

This world?  And others of us

DO NOT?

Why is it that some of us

See the POSSIBILITY of DIVINITY

In each and everyone of us

And OTHERS of us do not?

“........For my eyes have seen

Your SALVATION..........”                                                                                      Luke 2:30

2,000 years ago=on a NORMAL

Average day at the temple=two

RECOGNIZED the possibility=of divinity

In the COMING of our Lord

To the temple=

Simeon and Anna

Why is it that they were

The ONLY ONES?  What did Simeon and Anna

Notice and recognize in Jesus

That no one else saw?

WHAT caused them to cry out

And CALL ATTENTION to the presence

Of the LONG-AWAITED ONE?

What calls us to recognize the

POSSIBILITY of DIVINITY in others?

Why do we see the

PRESENCE of the Lord in today's

World?  While others just ignore him?

The POSSIBILITY OF DIVINITY=the

PRESENCE of the Lord in others

“Jesus LOOKED at them

And said='with man

This is impossible=but

With God=ALL THINGS are possible”                                                                      Matthew 19:26

Yes=creation=DIVINITY=life=is

IMPOSSIBLE=left up to us-man=BUT

With God=Jesus=the possibility

Of divinity and life=lives within us=

EACH of us=because of them

“If you CAN?”=said Jesus=

”EVERYTHING is possible

For the one who BELIEVES”                                                                                          Mark 9:23

YES=Anna and Simeon=BELIEVED

In God and Jesus=just the SAME WAY

You and I believe=if

Not more so

Just IMAGINE=both of them=

For years=looking and gazing

At the face of EVERY child

And woman=THINKING=

“ARE YOU THE ONE?”

IMAGINE a lifetime of looking

INTO the face of every baby=

Of every human being

And SEEING the possibility

Of divinity

YEARS of PRAYER=allowed them

To see the ROOT in the baby Jesus=

Just the same way=

YEARS of prayer and attentiveness

ALLOWS US to see the

Possibility of DIVINITY of God=

In each and every one of us

The possibility of divinity=

We are all=ROOTED IN GOD

“IF the part of the dough

OFFERED as first fruits

Is holy

Then the WHOLE batch

Is holy

If the ROOT is holy

So are the branches”                                                                                 Romans 11:16

“I-Jesus-

Have sent the ANGEL

To give you

The TESTIMONY

For the churches

I am the ROOT

And the OFFSPRING of David

Ant the bright MORNING STAR”                                                                      Revelation 22:16

Simeon and Anna RECOGNIZED that

Jesus was the HOLY ONE=the SAME should

Be TRUE for each of us

Will we recognize the LORD'S

PRESENCE in the world=today=and

The POSSIBILITY OF DIVINITY=God's

OWN SON=in each and every one of us?

In the names of Jesus and HIS

MOST beautiful-glorious-HEAVENLY FATH
