What is so good

About this day

We call “GOOD” Friday?

It is the day God died=

But it is the BEGINNING

Of the next three days=for

Which God-Jesus would live again=

And LIVE ETERNALLY

GOOD BY ANY STANDARD

“Though he was-

Harshly treated=

He submitted

And opened=NOT HIS MOUTH”                                                                            Isaiah 53:7

Today our good-GOD man Jesus died=

But he was so good-

NOT even the grave

Could contain him

GOOD BY ANY STANDARD

“........but God 

Intended it for GOOD

To accomplish

What is now

Being done=the saving

Of many lives”                                                                                                                  Genesis 50:20

“Taste and see

That the Lord

IS GOOD

Blessed is the one

Who takes refuge in him”                                                                                           Psalm 34:8

“Then you will

Win favor

And a GOOD NAME

In the sight of God

And man”                                                                                                                       Proverbs 3:4

WHY do we call

This day GOOD?

It is the day=

Jesus was tortured

And executed like a CRIMINAL

Yet we have called

This day GOOD

For centuries

It has to be good=

It is a SACRED DAY=

It is the day

Jesus' terrible death

Led to

The RESURRECTION= 

And SALVATION of the world

WHAT can be MORE

GOOD than that?

Yes it is=Jesus was=

Jesus is=the man for all time=

The day is GOOD

BY ANY STANDARD

It is NOT only about

How much he SUFFERED=

It is about

How much=that HE LOVED

To go through anything

To PROVE how good=

HIS GREAT LOVE for us=is

“Why do you ask me-

About what is GOOD'

Jesus replied=

'There is only one

WHO IS GOOD”                                                                                                        Matthew 19:17

“........being confident of this

That he who began

A GOOD WORK in you

Will carry it

On to completion

UNTIL the day of Christ Jesus”                                                                             Philippians 1:6

And TODAY is the day

Of CHRIST JESUS=

And it is about

His incredible SACRIFICIAL LOVE

For us

And it is GOOD

BY ANY STANDARD=

Especially the standard

OF GOD

In Jesus' name=and in the name of our INCREDIBLE FATHER=both

Whose name ARE LOVE
