DON’T FORGET THE LOVE!

 

ONE thing I=have LEARNED in my almost

Seventy years of life=is that

You CANNOT=legislate morality=NOT

Wit laws=Not with commandments and

NOT=with any kind of punishments

 

I REALIZE=why we have to have them=But

IF people would just=LISTEN to Jesus’

TWO commandments of love=we wouldn’t

Have to worry about all the rest

 

Jesus=THE NEW TESTAMENT=is steeped

Heavily in love=DON’T FORGET THE LOVE!=

Love God with your=Whole heart and soul=and

YOUR NEIGHBOR as yourself=Yes my dear friends

DON’T FORGET THE LOVE!

 

“I have come=Not to abolish=but

TO FULFILL”                                                                                                                                            Matthew 5:17

 

Jesus was=IS=the great EXAMPLE OF LOVE

In our world=There has NEVER BEEN=another like him

 

So=IF we are his followers=his disciples=Others

SHOULD SEE LOVE= in us=Others should see

WE are loving others too=Just like Jesus

That is the way=it should be=to GIVE LOVE

Back to God=and others=in every situation

That touches their life=that touches our life

DON’T FORGET=THE LOVE!

 

“A new command=I give you=LOVE ONE ANOTHER=as

I have loved you=By this everyone will know

That you are my disciples=If you LOVE ONE ANOTHER”                                                    John 13:34

 

“Be devoted=to ONE ANOTHER IN LOVE=Honor

One another above yourselves”                                                                                                        Romans 12:10

 

“Therefore show these men=the proof

OF YOUR LOVE=and reason for our pride

In you=so that the churches=can see it”                                                                                 2 Corinthians 8:24

 

In Jesus’ day=there were many rules and

Regulations=but many had forgotten=about

THE LOVE OF GOD=Many had forgotten the PURPOSE

For the laws

 

THEY FORGOT=that the PURPOSE=of the LAW

Was to REINFORCE their connection to God=They

Forgot the REASON=for it all

DON’T FORGET THE LOVE!

 

Jesus came to FULFILL=the Law=He came

To RESTORE the identity of GOD’S PEOPLE

To love=He came to SHOW GOD’S LOVE=for all people

 

“You my brothers and sisters=were called

To be free=But do not use your freedom

To indulge the flesh=Rather serve

 

One another=HUMBLY IN LOVE=for

The entire law=is fulfilled IN keeping this one

Command=’LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR=as yourself’”                                                            Galatians 5:13-14

 

“Follow God’s example=therefore as dearly

Loved children=and walk in=THE WAY OF LOVE

 

Just as Christ loved us=and gave himself=

Up For us=as a fragrant offering=and sacrifice

To God”                                                                                                                                           Ephesians 5:1-2

 

Laws and rules=do not make you=a different person

ONLY A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP=with Our Holy Father God

And Jesus Christ=can ever do that=with that you

CAN BECOME=a new CREATION=in the Spirit of God

DON’T FORGET THE LOVE!

 

IF we live=loving God=Loving Jesus=and loving

ALL others as ourself=we can become TRUE FOLLOWERS

To the HOLY FATHER God and to Jesus

Do not EVER=FORGET TO LOVE

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our HOLY FATHER GOD=the perfect examples

Of love!
