THE PROMISED KINGDOM OF GOD


ALL of today's readings
Say something about
RESTORING LIFE


In the COMING KINGDOM
Of God-there will be
NO MORE DEATH


And in today's gospel
Jesus HEALS a dying child


And in my OWN life
He HEALED me-when I was lying
Next to death


“They shall LIVE
In the houses they BUILD


And eat of the vineyards
They plant” Isaiah 65:21


In God's kingdom
In GOD'S WORLD
People-children-will NEVER DIE


Everyone will live LONG
And FULFILLING lives
And there will be
NO MORE WEEPING


There will be safety and security
And HEALING-and
They will live a RESTORED LIFE


The Lord KEEPS HIS PROMISES


The PROMISED KINGDOM of God


“........
Come with us
And we will treat you well


For the Lord
Has promised good things
To Israel” Numbers 10:29


“BLESSED is the one
Who PERSEVERES under trial


Because-having
STOOD the test
That person will RECEIVE


THE CROWN OF LIFE


That the Lord has PROMISED
To those who LOVE HIM” James 1:12


In today's gospel-
Jesus HEALS a dying child


“Go,' Jesus replied, 'Your son will LIVE'” John 4:50


“THEN the father realized
That this was the EXACT TIME
At which Jesus has said to him,
'Your son will live'
So he and HIS household BELIEVED” John 4:53


THE PROMISED KINGDOM OF GOD


And then we-have Lazarus-
Whose feast it is today
Lazarus-the brother of Martha and Mary-
And Jesus' own friend


“When he heard this, Jesus said,-
'THIS sickness will NOT
End in death


No-it is for God's GLORY-
So that GOD'S SON
May be GLORIFIED through it” John 11:4


And I give you MY OWN
TESTIMONY=That God has brought me
BACK from the brink of death
Some 40 year ago=
HERE I am=for the GLORY OF GOD
The glory of Christ


Jesus conquered death
He is the God=OF THE LIVING


This is NOT
The world that we live in
But it is
THE PROMISED KINGDOM OF GOD


I BELIEVE=
In the name of God and Jesus CHRIST=
LET IT BE!
