THE TOTAL HEALING POWER OF GOD


God-Jesus-NEVER tries
To force himself on you-
Or anyone else


He leaves it UP to you-whether-
To say “YES” and INVITE HIM
Into your life


The man in today's gospel-
IS an example where Jesus
Invites someone to TRUST HIM-
Before REVEALING his healing power


The HEALING POWER of God


“Jesus said to him,
'Do you want to be well?'” John 5:6


I too-had to TRUST God-first-
And he gave me a SECOND chance
At life-He has BUILT a life for me
Through family and friends


That I could never
Have built myself


TRUST GOD-he knows
What you NEED


Trust in the TOTAL
Healing power of God


“SOME trust in chariots-
And some in horses


But WE TRUST in
The NAME of the Lord
Our God” Psalm 20:7


“May the God of HOPE
FILL you will ALL joy and peace
As you
TRUST in him


So that you
May overflow
With hope
By the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT” Romans 15:13


Our CULTURE-tells us
That we must FIX ourselves


Physically-through clinics-rehab facilities-
THIS specialist and that specialist


But the truth IS-EVERYONE-
Works for God-OUR HEALER


Physical-mental-and emotional HEALTH
COMES from God-
How many times-do we hear-
In the NEW TESTAMENT?


“YOUR FAITH HAS HEALED YOU”


I KNOW mine has-I know my
TRUST IN GOD
Has TURNED my life around


The total
HEALING POWER of GOD


“GRACIOUS words
Are a honeycomb


SWEET to the soul
And HEALING to the bones” Proverbs 16:24


“THOSE troubled
By impure spirits
Were cured


And the people
ALL tried to touch him


Because POWER
Was coming from him
And HEALING them all” Luke 6:18-19


God and Jesus have so MUCH
To give to us
The WELLNESS that
ONLY they can give


A clear conscience-
A PURE and PEACEFUL HEART


And the LOVE of God and neighbor-
And the peaceful INNER HEALING
We CANNOT find on our own
