KNOWING THE WORD OF=AND=
THE LOVE OF GOD


In chapter 3 of Mark=Jesus
Tells us a parable about
THE WORD OF GOD


And the DIFFERENT KINDS of soil
In our hearts=of those of us
Who are LISTENING


“A SOWER went out to sow=and as
He sowed=some SEED fell on the path
….....other seed FELL on rocky ground
….....SOME-fell among thorns---and some---
On rich soil and PRODUCED FRUIT” Mark 4:3-5, 7-8


What is the CONDITION
Of your heart? Is your heart---
RICH in soil----------for RECEIVING
The WORD of God=
For receiving the LOVE OF GOD


Keep your hearts OPEN=even if
It is NOT right now=at some point


The WORD of God
The LOVE of God
Will begin to GROW in your heart


“But those
Who HOPE in the Lord
Will RENEW their strength


They will SOAR
On wings like eagles
They will run


And not grow weary
They will WALK
And not be faint” Isaiah 40:31


KEEP your hearts open
For the LOVE of God
Keep your ears open
For the WORD of God=
KNOW and LOVE
The WORD OF GOD


“........
See how the FLOWERS
Of the field grow
They do NOT labor or spin


Yet I tell you
That not even Solomon
In all his splendor
Was DRESSED-
Like one of these” Matthew 6:28-29


Sometimes=the WORD of God=
Does not GROW in us
Right of way


Sometimes GOD'S LOVES leaves us DRY=
In our hearts=UNTIL a storm comes
And DRENCHES our soul


That is WHY we always
Have to keep our hearts OPEN=
Until that day=when our hearts are READY=
To LOVE the word of God=
And LIVE that LOVE


“Sacrifice and offering
You did not desire--------


But my ears
You have OPENED---------


Burnt offerings and sin offerings
You did not require” Psalm 40:6


“I will OPEN my mouth
With a PARABLE


I will utter hidden things
From of old--------” Psalm 78:1


So keep your HEARTS OPEN
Keep listening for
The WORD of God


And someday
The seed will START to GROW


And our lives
Will bear FRUIT
That comes from listening to


And LIVING the LOVE OF GOD
