LOOKING FOR A KING=THE REAL KING!


Today in 1 Samuel=we read
ABOUT the elders of Israel
REQUESTING a KING


Samuel was DISHEARTENED
But the Lord was even
More so


“But when they said=
'GIVE us a KING
To lead us'


This displeased Samuel=
So he PRAYED
To the Lord
And the Lord TOLD HIM


'LISTEN to ALL that
The people are saying to you


It is NOT YOU
They have REJECTED


But they have rejected me
AS THEIR KING'” 1 Samuel 8:6-7


And IN the New TESTAMENT
We read about THE REAL KING=
The ONCE and FUTURE KING=Jesus


Jesus=KING for ALL of eternity=
THE LORD Jesus CHRIST


“IMMEDIATELY=Jesus KNEW
In his SPIRIT
That this is
WHAT they were thinking


In their HEARTS
And he said to them=
'WHY are you thinking
These things


Which is EASIER to say
To this paralyzed man


'Your sins are forgiven'
Or to say
''GET UP=take your mat
And walk'


But I want you to KNOW
That the SON of Man
Has AUTHORITY on earth
To forgive sins” Nark 2:8-10


YES=in America=CONTRARY to
What some may think=
We have NO KING


We have three branches
And CHECKS & BALANCES


But the Lord GOD ALMIGHTY
The Lord Jesus Christ=
Is KING for all eternity=
And for ALL of time


He is
THE REAL KING!


ALL the power and authority
On earth=and in HEAVEN=
RESTS with the Lord


“One thing=God has spoken=
Two things=I have heard=


'POWER BELONGS to you-God-
And with you Lord=
Is UNFAILING LOVE'


And-'You REWARD everyone
According to what
They have done'” Psalm 62:11-12


“Jesus replied=
'You are in ERROR-
Because you do NOT KNOW
The SCRIPTURES=or
The POWER OF GOD
…............” Matthew 22:29


“For I am NOT ASHAMED
Of the GOSPEL


Because it is=
The POWER OF GOD


That BRINGS salvation to everyone
Who BELIEVES=


FIRST to the Jew-
Then to the Gentile” Romans 1:16


For there is just ONE KING
Over us all=THE REAL KING=
For all of TIME=and from the
LINE OF DAVID=


The LORD Jesus Christ


In the names of the LORD Jesus=and his
MOST LOVING GLORIOUS FATHER
