THE IMMENSE COURAGE OF JESUS


Did you ever THINK
About the IMMENSE COURAGE
Of Jesus?


He had a TRUE
HUMAN NATURE=and his inner
Strength was REMARKABLE=
Particularly the last week
Of his life
On earth


“Since the children
Have flesh and blood-
He too


Shared in their HUMANITY
So that by his death


He might
Break the power
Of him
Who HOLDS the power
Of death---------
That is-the devil--------........” Hebrews 2:14


“I have-
Set my face like FLINT........” Isaiah 50:7


The characteristics of Jesus=
His COURAGE particularly
Identifies with the
“SUFFERING SERVANT” in
The Book of ISAIAH


His-Jesus'-INNER STRENGTH-
Is compared to FLINT=
An extremely hard stone


He-Jesus-KNEW what he had
To FACE in the
Final days-thank God he
Had that inner strength


And thank God we have
The STRENGTH that we need-
To face what we have to
In this hard-DIFFICULT LIFE


We can LEARN from Jesus
We can DRAW
On his=JESUS' COURAGE


“They mounted-
Up to the heavens
And went down
To the depths


In their peril
Their COURAGE melted away” Psalm 107:26


“Immediately=he spoke to them=
'Take COURAGE!=
It is I=Don't be afraid'” Mark 6:50”


“So keep up your
COURAGE men=
For I have faith in God
That it will happen
Just as he told me” Acts 27:25


MAY we all live with=
And die with-
The IMMENSE COURAGE
That Jesus had


Jesus could have easily
Escaped=in those final days=
If he wanted to=
Like he had
So many times before


But he TOOK on his CROSS
With HUMILITY=
And took on the torture
With immense courage


We too=can LEARN
From the courage of Jesus=
We too can find
The STRENGTH to take
On our crosses=just as
Jesus did


“Then he
Said to them all=
'WHOEVER wants to be
My disciple


Must deny themselves
And take up their CROSS daily
And follow me'” Luke 9:23


And FOLLOW Jesus=we shall
And we shall do it=
By facing life
With HIS IMMENSE COURAGE


We can find that INNER STRENGTH
And “SET our face like FLINT”=
Just like Jesus


As we FACE our most
Daunting circumstances


In Jesus' name=and with ALL the strength and courage of Jesus=and his MOST HOLY FATHER
