A LONG HARD ROAD
The SPIRITUAL JOURNEY is a
LONG HARD ROAD=with many
Ups and downs
And that is the HARD TRUTH
But it is UP to us
To stay the course=
And REMAIN in the love
Of God the Father and Jesus
“REMAIN in my love” John 15:9
We have moments of CLARITY
With great love=and we have PERIODS
Of dryness and DOUBT
But we have to
Stay on the ROAD=
We have to follow
The course
We have to TAKE
The journey of life
With God and Jesus
FOLLOW the road=
It is a long hard ROAD-
It is a tough journey
“Enter through the narrow gate-
For wide
Is the gate=and broad
Is the ROAD
That leads to destruction=
And many enter-through it” Matthew 7:13
I have heard people
Say that=they are not
Afraid of COVID=
Because of their CHRISTIAN FAITH
And that they are
NOT afraid to die
But life is a tough journey
And we NEED to live it-
We need to LIVE
With God and Jesus
EVERY MOMENT=of our life
Life is a LONG HARD ROAD
And we need to live it
NO MATTER what comes
FOLLOW the journey of life
With God and Jesus=
For it really is
A LONG HARD ROAD
A very tough journey
“As long as=it is day
We must=do the works=of him
Who sent me” John 9:4
“.......by the Holy Spirit
Sent from heaven=
Even angels LONG
To look into these things” 1 Peter 1:12
RELATIONSHIPS=whether human or divine
Change and grow=
And sometimes
They wither and die
To keep a relationship HEALTHY
REQUIRES an investment
Of our TIME
As well as our honesty and trust
THIS SPIRITUAL RELATIONSHIP=
This spiritual journey
Is long and hard=
Keep your eyes OPEN
For we never know
What is coming IN THE FUTURE
What fears-disappointments=
Or aspirations=for your life=
Can you SHARE with
God and Jesus today?
“Nevertheless=the one who receives instruction
In the word=SHOULD SHARE
All good things-
With their instructor” Galatians 6:6
SHARE YOUR LIFE AND FAITH
With God and Jesus=
For it is=A LONG HARD ROAD
In Jesus' name=and in the name=of our ALWAYS SHARING FATHER!
