THE STRENGTH OF MEMORY
What do you do
When you are SURROUNDED
By questions and doubts
In your life?
How do you FIND
The courage-
To keep on MOVING FORWARD?
For me
It is=
THE STRENGTH OF MY MEMORY
It is the REMEMBERING
Of how God=
Has touched me
In the PAST
It is the remembering
Of the LOVE
And my beautiful God
And how he
Has always BEEN FAITHFUL
To his promises and
PULLED me through before
THE STRENGTH OF MEMORY
“This is why you
Must now ACKNOWLEDGE
And fix in your HEART
That the Lord is God........” Deuteronomy 4:39
It is EASY to see God
In this life=
From the WONDERS of creation
The moon and the stars
To the heartbeats of
The TINIEST little babies
Remembering the GOOD THINGS
In life=REMEMBERING
The truth and beauty of our God
God is great
And WORTHY of our focus=
Our praise=and our adoration
Remembering the Lord
MY GOD
And all=he has done for me
“Truly I tell you-
Wherever the gospel is
Preached throughout the world
What she has done
Will also be told
IN MEMORY of her” Matthew 26:13
“REMEMBER the wonders
He has done
His miracles=and the judgments
He pronounced” 1 Chronicles 16:12
WHEN we remember God-
When we remember
What he has done
In our own life
We can love and PROCLAIM
The good news
Because we KNOW
What he has already done
God has been FAITHFUL
Through the history
Of this world
And because of
THE STRENGTH-
OF OUR MEMORY
We can see=how he
Has always come through
For ALL of mankind
And he will do so AGAIN
REMAIN HOPEFUL=
Fix your heart on
GOD'S faithful response of LOVE
REMEMBER=what God has already done
In your life=and in human history
In Jesus' name=and in the name=of our always REMEMBERING faithful FATHER!
