HE IS OUR FRIEND

HE IS OUR FRIEND!

Are you friends with God?

Are you

FRIENDS with Jesus?

Do you SHARE everything

In your life with them?

Jesus wants to be OUR FRIEND=

And today=in the SCRIPTURES-

He tells us so

“I no longer

Call you slaves=

Because a slave

Does not know

What his master is doing

I have called you FRIENDS-

Because I have told you

Everything I

Have heard=from my FATHER” John 15:15

The title of FRIEND

To Jesus=is quite COMFORTING

Because friends

Really LOVE each other=

Friends really SHARE everything

With one another-

The good and the bad

And Jesus=does that=with us

But it makes it HARD

For us

To be his friend

Because he really

Does TRUST US=and it is

Almost IMPOSSIBLE

To lay down our life

For him=

As he does for us

It is almost IMPOSSIBLE

To love him

In the SAME WAY

He does love us

Nevertheless=HE IS OUR FRIEND!

And he wants us

To BE his friend too

“The Lord would

Speak to Moses

FACE TO FACE

As one

Speaks to a FRIEND” Exodus 33:11

“One who has unreliable FRIENDS

Soon comes to ruin=

But there is a FRIEND

Who sticks closer=than a brother” Proverbs 18:24

“My command is this=

Love each other

As I have loved you

Greater love has no one

Than this=to lay one's life

Down for his FRIEND” John 15:13

Yes Jesus=and the Holy Father

Love us like a FRIEND=

Because they have

GIVEN their life for us

Because they speak to us

Face-to-face

And hear everything we say

To them

For they do love us

Like their very OWN BROTHER

They trust us implicitly=

And we should TRUST THEM

With our very own lives

“TRUST in the Lord

And do good=

Dwell in the land

And enjoy safe pasture” Psalm 37:3

“TRUST in the Lord

With all your heart

And lean not=on your own understanding” Proverbs 3:5

KEEP in touch with Jesus

Consider his NEEDS=just as

He thinks about your needs

Yes TRUST in the Lord=

SHARE in the Lord

Like he is your brother

HE IS OUR FRIEND!

In love and kindness

In Jesus' name=and in the name=of our ONE TRUE FRIEND=our Holy Father God!
