MAKING OUR HOME IN HIS LOVE

Jesus has a HEART

Full of love for us=

So does his HOLY FATHER

Today he tells us

To REMAIN in his love=

We should MAKE OUR HOME

In the love of God

And Jesus

“As the Father LOVES ME=so

I also LOVE you=

REMAIN in my love” John 15;9

Some of the translations

Instead of remain=

Use the word ABIDE

If we are ABIDING=

We are not just sitting their passively=

We are MAKING OUR HOME

In that place=

We need to REMAIN

In God's love

“If you REMAIN in me

And my words

REMAIN in you

Ask whatever you wish

And it will-

Be done for you” John 15:7

“Let no debt REMAIN outstanding-

Except the continuing debt

To love one another

For whoever loves others-

Has fulfilled the law” Romans 13:8

And Jesus IS the one

He was/he is

The FULFILLMENT of the law=

MAKING OUR HOME=

IN HIS LOVE!

And what would it look like

To make my home

IN THE LOVE of Jesus?

Instead of an abstract location=

The love of Jesus would be/IS

A place of refuge-

A place of welcoming-

A place of REST

And refreshment for us

The HOME of Jesus

In our heart=has many

Of its own UNIQUE furnishings

And décor

Making our HOME-

IN HIS LOVE

“The Lord's curse

Is on the house

Of the wicked

But he blesses

The HOME of the righteous” Proverbs 3:33

“Jesus replied=

'Anyone who loves me

Will obey my teaching

My Father will love them

And we will come

To them=

And make our HOME

With them'” John 14:23

Yes=the love of the FATHER

And the love of Jesus

Make their HOMES IN US

They are expressed in

So many VARIED WAYS=

According to the gifts

And background=of every disciple

God loves us=and PREPARES each

And every one of us=in our own unique ways

To BEAR FRUIT

Dear Lord=we pray=

Help us=make our HOMES
IN YOU TODAY

In Jesus' name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LOVING FATHER!
