WHO IS MY LYDIA

WHO IS MY LYDIA?

Today=we read about Paul's travels

And his EXPERIENCES

Out on the road

Paul would go ANYWHERE=

And Luke his biographer

Was thrilled

To go along too

Luke writes things like

“We set sail”=

“We spent some time”=and

“We sat and

SPOKE with some women”

For us=it is like

We are RIGHT THERE

Along with them

And there is ONE

Particular woman named Lydia

Who God uses=to OPEN

Her heart and her home

“If you consider me=

A believer in the Lord

Come and stay=AT MY HOME” Acts 16:15

Who can WE

Sit down with=and SHARE

The GOOD NEWS with today?

WHO is my Lydia?

So GENEROUS with

Her gifts and her goods

You NEVER KNOW how God

Might be calling you=

You never know HOW

God be calling you

To SHARE YOUR LIFE

“Nevertheless=the one who receives

Instruction in the word

Should SHARE all good things

With their instructor” Galatians 6:6

“Anyone who has been stealing-

Must steal no longer

But must work

Doing something useful

With their own hands

That they may have something

To SHARE with those=in need” Ephesians 4:28

My MOM was a LYDIA=

She shared

Her home with everyone too

My dad too

They once told me

They OPENED up their home

To 40 different people

For 30 days or longer

And while they didn't always

ACTIVELY talk about God

In everything that they did

They were LIVING EXAMPLES

Of God's word

“........to teach you

That man does not

Live on bread alone

But on EVERY WORD

That comes from

The mouth of the Lord” Deuteronomy 8:3

I have had MANY BELIEVERS

Open up their homes=

And Share the word of God with me

And I am thankful

You never know=

When heaven itself

Will come CALLING on you

Will ask you=

To SHARE your home-

Share your food-

Share your goods

With someone else

So I ask you

WHO HAS BEEN A LYDIA

To you=in your life?

Who can you be a LYDIA to

In today's world?

In Jesus' name=and in the name=of our ALWAYS sharing Holy Father!
