WONDERS AT THE GIFT OF LIFE
The GIFT of life
Is a wonderful thing=
TREASURE IT-
Use it wisely
APPRECIATE this GIFT OF GOD
For many
NEVER get the opportunity
To GROW OLD=
And we never know=what DAY
We will be CALLED HOME
By the Lord
“NOW will I praise
Those godly men=our ancestors
Each in his=own time
But of others
There is NO MEMORY
For when they ceased
They ceased........
Yet these were also GODLY MEN........
Their heritage=with their descendants” Sirach 44:1, 9,11
The chapters 44 through 50
In Sirach=contain the EULOGIES
Of many heroes
And patriarchs of Israel
ANCESTORS in our
Judeo-Christian faith
And yet there are still OTHERS
NOT remembered by name=
Who still passed on
Their LIFE and faith
I want to CELEBRATE these people
Today=and celebrate
The gift of EVERY human life
GIVEN to us=by God
For it is AN OPPORTUNITY=
For this person
To BUILD a life
To build=the CHURCH OF GOD
WONDERS AT
THE GIFT OF LIFE
“Listen to this Job=
Stop and consider=GOD'S WONDERS” Job 37:14
“Show me
The WONDERS of
Your great love
You who save
By your right hand=
Those who take refuge
In you=from their foes” Psalm 17:7
“I will show
WONDERS in the heavens above
And signs
On the earth below
Blood and fire
And billows of smoke” Acts 2:19
I have an intense
Personal AWARENESS
Of the GIFT OF LIFE
Because of coming
SO CLOSE to death
So many times=
I APPRECIATE
The gift of life=and NEVER
Take it for granted
Today we CELEBRATE
The men and women
Of the Judeo-Christan faith
Who BUILT the Church
Into what it is
We celebrate the gift
Of EVERY HUMAN LIFE
Given to us by God=
The WONDERS of
THE GIFT OF LIFE
“I will sing
To the Lord
All my LIFE
I will sing praise
To my God
As long as I live” Psalm 104:33
WONDERS of the
GIFT OF LIFE
CHOOSE to live=make your life
Into something SPECIAL
It belongs to God=to your FAMILY=
And to the church
And to ALL OF MANKIND
In Jesus' name=and in the name of OUR FOREVER HOLY LIVING FATHER!
