A DEEPER PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP
(From vacation)
Today we RECOGNIZE
The feast of SAINTS Martha-
Mary-and Lazarus
Jesus had A
DEEP PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP
With this FAMILY
And it=kept GETTING DEEPER
Let us pray
That EACH one of us GROW
Into a DEEPER
PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with Jesus too
“When Martha=heard
That Jesus WAS COMING
She went to=Meet him
But Mary=sat at home”
John 11:20
Martha-Mary-and Jesus
Were very DIFFERENT PEOPLE
Yet Jesus LOVED
Each of them individually
And ALL of them together
Just as=he loves
EACH ONE of us
And calls us into
A DEEPER PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP
With him
“The SPIRIT searches
All things=
Even the DEEP THINGS=of God” 1
Corinthians 2:10
“They must keep hold
Of the DEEP TRUTHS
Of the faith=with a clear conscience”
1 Timothy 3:9
I really feel=Martha
Often gets a BAD RAP
For her faith=yet today
We see her BEARING FRUIT
Martha and Mary
Both have a DEEP FAITH
In Jesus=Lazarus too=or he
NEVER would have been
Brought back form the dead
We can learn different lessons
From all THREE of them
We=all of us are CALLED
Into a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP
With Jesus=have faith
A DEEP PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP
For each one of us
Just like Martha=Mary=
And Lazarus
We all PROCLAIM
OUR FAITH=in different ways
“PROCLAIM=the power of God
Whose majesty=is over Israel
Whose power=is in the heavens”
Psalm 68:34
“For I have not hesitated
TO PROCLAIM to you
The whole will of God”
Acts 20:27
THE GREAT LESSON we learn
From Martha-Mary-and Lazarus
Is that Jesus
LOVES us all DEEPLY=no matter
How we bring our faith
To HIM
He calls each of us
Into=A DEEPER PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LOVING=Holy
Father God!
