THE MASTER=FIXER-UPPER!
(From vacation)
We all have HOMES
Some are fantastic=brand new
Some need a little work
Some need=a lot of WORK
But we DO
What we need to do
To make them livable
Some of our homes
Are FIXER-UPPERS=like
MOST of us people are
But the Lord
Has ALL OF US
And he will
WORK to FIX US=
If we just COOPERATE with him
“Again=I will RESTORE YOU-
And you shall be REBUILT…….”
Jeremiah 31:4
Today’s readings CHRONICLES
GOD’S RESTORATION=of a nation
And more importantly=it chronicles
The SHEPHERDING of his people
AND THEIR HEALINGS
Yes brothers and sisters
We are ALL FIXER=UPPERS!
To a certain degree
He understands
How to REHAB our hearts
And keep us all going
He REVEALS our beauty
And carries us on
To a BRAND NEW LIFE
“FIX these words
Of mine=in your hearts
And minds
Tie them as symbols
On your hands=and bind them
On your foreheads” Deuteronomy
11:18
“So we=FIX OUR EYES
NOT on what is seen-
But on what is unseen
Since what is seen
Is temporary
But what is unseen-IS ETERNAL” 2
Corinthians 4:18
Our God=Our Jesus
Is the MASTER RENORVATOR
He is THE MASTER=FIXER-UPPER!
He got me straightened out
He can do it=for you too
He has the VISION
To see it through
“……..FIXING our eyes
On Jesus=the pioneer
And perfecter of our faith”
Hebrews 12:2
What part=Of your life
Needs to be RESTORED
Turn it over to
The master renovator
To the=MASTER FIXER=UPPER!
He has a passion=
And a VISION=JUST FOR YOU!
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our always loving=MASTER
