GOD PUT YOU IN MY WAY

“God Put You In My Way”

 

 

The other day I heard a story.  A Catholic Priest was telling the story

Of two travelers:  one an African and the other one an Egyptian.  They did

Not know each other.  The Egyptian encountered some problems while

Traveling, and the African went out of his way to help.

 

The Egyptian asked:  “why did you help me?  You don‘t even like me.”

 

The African responded, “I had to help.  God put you in my way.”

 

When the Egyptian went home, he found out his former fiance had

Encountered some problems.  The Egyptian man went out of his way

To help her.  When his former fiance asked, “why did you help me?

You don‘t even like me.”  He responded,

 

“I had to help.  God put you in my way.”

 

It made me think about who has helped me in my life, without any hope

Of ever getting repaid.  I wonder if they thought:

 

“I had to help.  God put you in my way.”
