KEEP REACHING=FOR HIS STRENGTH
(From vacation)
Did you ever NOTICE
That when things=go wrong
IN LIFE=or even just
During our normal activities
That God is our stronghold
That Jesus
IS OUR STRONGHOLD
They are who
GETS US THROUGH
So KEEP
REACHING FOR HIS STRENGTH
The strength
Of the Lord our God
And his Son=Jesus Christ
“O MY STRENGTH=for you I watch
For you=O God
ARE MY STRONGHOLD
You have been=MY STRONGHOLD
My refuge=
In the day of distress” Psalm
59:10, 17b
There have been
MANY DAYS of distress
For most of us
The LAST couple of years
COVID=our political unrest
Our civil unrest
Our racial divisions=none of us
Seem particularly HAPPY any more
BUT KEEP STRONG
In God the Father
And in Jesus
They are our strengths
KEEP REACHING
FOR HIS STRENGTH
“The Lord=IS MY STRENTH
And my defense-
He has become my salvation”
Exodus
15:2
“The Lord
IS MY STRENGTH=and my defense
He has become my salvation”
Psalm 118:14
“For the foolishness=of God
Is wiser
Than human wisdom
And the weakness of God
Is STRONGER THAN HUMAN STRENGTH”
1 Corinthians 1:25
What we need to do
Is watch every day
FOR THE PRESENCE OF GOD
He is present
IN our every day activities
KEEP REACHING OUT
For the Lord’s STRENGTH
He carries us=when we
CANNOT carries ourselves
Any longer
Dear Lord=we pray
That we=have you
IN our thoughts today
And that we SHARE
YOUR STRONGHOLD in us
By reaching out to others
“We=WHO ARE STRONG
Ought to bear=with the failings
Of the weak=and not to
Please ourselves”
Romans 15:1
Dear Lord=HELP US to be strong
IN YOUR STRENGTH
And offer special kindnesses=to others
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=0f our FOREVER STRONG=Holy
Father God!
