OUR DIGNITY=COMES FROM GOD

 

We live in AN UPSIDE-

DOWN WORLD=when Jesus

Was just a=FEW DAYS OLD

 

Simeon prophesied that

This child would be

A SIGN of contradiction

 

“But many who are FIRST

WILL BE LAST

 

And the last

Will be first”                                                                                                                   Matthew 19:30

 

This was just ONE

Of many ways=Jesus CHALLENGED

The prevailing values=of his time

 

The most ULTIMATE CONTRADICTION

Would be the CROSS

Where an instrument=OF TORTURE AND DEATH

Would be

The sign of SALVATION=and ETERNAL LIFE

 

Finding life=in our SUFFERING

FINDING DIGNITY=COMES FROM GOD

 

“She is clothed

WITH STRENGTH AND DINITY=

She can laugh at

The days to come”                                                                                                                         Proverbs 31:25

 

The secular world

Pursues POWER AND WEALTH

But the FOLLOWERS of Jesus

Try to=LIFT UP the lowly

 

We proclaim

OUR DIGNITY=COMES FROM GOD

But do we=try and LIVE THAT WAY

 

It is NOT our social status

It is=

NOT OUR WEALTH=we are all EQUAL

In the eyes of God

 

“’To whom=will you compare me?

Or who=IS MY EQUAL?’

Says the Holy One”                                                                                                                    Isaiah 40:25

 

“For this reason

They tried to kill him=
NOT only was he

Breaking the Sabbath

 

But he was=even calling God

His own Father

Making himself=EQUAL WITH GOD”                                                                                      John 5:18

 

“…….so that

There should be no division

In the body

 

But that its parts

SHOULD HAVE EQUAL CONCERN

For each other”                                                                                                                    1 Corinthians 12:25

 

How can we WITNESS to God-

In this UPSIDE DOWN world?

Can we make our OWN VALUES

In life=in line=with the Lord’s?

 

“For physical training

Is of SOME VALUE=but godliness

Has VALUE

 

For all things=holding promise

For both the present life

And the life to come”                                                                                                                    1 Timothy 4:8

 

Let us=treat ALL human beings

WITH VALUE=remembering

OUR DIGNITY=COMES FROM THE LORD!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name of our EVER VALUING Holy Father God=who loves us all EQUALLY and The same!
