EXPECTATIONS OF GOD!
I think
We all have=CERTAIN EXPECTATIONS
Of our God
That he is=ALL POWERFUL
That he is=ALL LOVING
And while ALL of that
May be true
And he is an AWESOME God
I think sometimes we
Put LIMITS ON HIM
EXPECTATIONS OF GOD!
“To what
Shall I compare this generation?
It is LIKE CHILDREN who…….
Call to one another=
‘We played the flute
For you=but you
DID NOT DANCE…….”
Matthew 11:16-17
Sometimes we GET
What we want from God
And sometimes=we don’t
Sometimes OUR EXPECTATIONS
Are not met
Regardless our God STOOPS
TO MEETS US=
And when it is=IN
Our best interests
OUR EXPECTATIONS are met
MEETING God half-way
EXPECTATIONS OF GOD!
“So you must also
Be ready
Because the Son of Man
Will come=at an hour
When you
DO NOT EXPECT HIM”
Matthew 24:24
“For the creation waits
IN EAGER EXPECTATION
For the Children of God
To be revealed”
Romans 8:19
“……..but only
A fearful EXPECTATION OF JUDGMENT
And of raging fire
That will consume
The enemies of God”
Hebrews 10:27
God wants
WHAT IS BEST for you
And he works with us
To MEET OUR EXPECTATIONS
But he only GRANTS
Our prayers
IF they are
What is BEST for us
He stoops down=TO MEET US
He comes MORE than half way
EXPECTATIONS OF GOD!
“Therefore this is what
I will=do to you Israel
And because=I will
Do this for you Israel
Prepare=TO MEET YOUR GOD”
Amos 4:12
I am SURE
Our Lord is WANTING
To MEET our EXPECATIONS of him
But we must RESPOND TOO
We must PREPARE
To meet him=on the
TERMS of the Lord
In love=FORGIVENESS of others=and
IN KINDNESS for others
For the Lord
HAS EXPEXTATIONS of us too
As we have=EXPECTATIONS OF OUR GOD!
In Jesus’ name=and in the name==of our LIMITLESS=Holy Father
