OPENING OUR HEARTS=

(This Christmas)

 

It all BEGAN=

In the womb=of

OUR MOTHER Mary=and

Her cousin Elizabeth

 

John=Jesus’ cousin=CAME FIRST

To PREPARE the way

For the COMING=of our Lord Jesus

 

Prepare for Jesus

OPENING OUR HEARTS=

For Christmas=Opening our hearts

For the COMING

Of our DEAR LORD Jesus Christ

 

“This is THE ONE

About whom=SCRIPTURE SAYS=

 

‘Behold I am sending

MY MESSENGER=ahead of you

 

He will PREPARE your way

Before you’”                                                                                                                      Luke 7:27

 

Later on=John

Prepared the WAY=for

The coming

Of his cousin Jesus=by BAPTIZING HIM

 

“And we hear from HEAVEN=

‘You are MY BELOVED SON

With you=

I am well PLEASED’”                                                                                                                  Luke 3:22

 

HOW can we PREPARE

To welcome=our Jesus

For Christmas?

 

How can we=OPEN

OUR HEARTS=for Jesus’ coming?

Let us seize this OPPORTUNITY

This Christmas=and welcome him

And OPEN OUR HEARTS=for Christmas

 

“Therefore as we=HAVE OPPORTUNITY

Let us do good

To all people

 

Especially to those

Who belong to=the FAMILY of believers”                                                                               Galatians 6:10

 

“Be very careful

Then how you live-------

 

NOT as unwise=but as wise

Make the most=OF EVERY OPPORTUNITY

Because the days=are evil”                                                                                      Ephesians 5:15-16

 

“So I counsel younger women

To marry=to have children

 

To manage their homes

And to=give the enemy

NO OPPORTUNITY for slander”                                                                                1 Timothy 5:14

 

The days of today

ARE so very evil too

 

Let us PREPARE

To FOLLOW John and Jesus

Through Advent=and

THROUGHOUT the Christmas season

 

OPENING OUR HEARTS!

For Christmas=and LOVE

For this world =this year

 

Let us have=SOME

Special moments of prayer

Some quiet moments

Of reflection=and

 

FIND A WAY=like John

To HONOR Jesus

This Christmas season

 

Dear Lord=we welcome you

WITH OPEN HEARTS=This Christmas

OPENING OUR HEARTS!!=this Christmas Season

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our ALWAYS LOVING and joyful=Holy Father God!
