BELIEVING THE UNBELIEVABLE!

 

LET us start with this=do you BELIEVE

UNBELIEVABLE THINGS?=Do you BELIEVE Jesus

ROSE from the dead=and LIVES FOREVER

With his Holy Father God=IN HEAVEN?

 

Today we have a GOSPEL MESSAGE

From Mark=where the people from his HOMETOWN

QUESTION who Jesus is=and Jesus is AMAZED

By their lack of FAITH

 

“He=Jesus=WAS AMAZED=by

Their LACK OF FAITH”                                                                                                             Mark 6:6

 

His HOMETOWN didn’t believe in him=but

2,000 years later=we KNOW BETTER

BELIEVING THE UNBELIEVABLE!

 

Jesus was a carpenter by trade=with his FATHER

And made a great impression=but they just

COULD NOT BELIEVE THE UNBELIEVABLE!=that he

Was the MIRACLE WORKING=Son of God

 

They COULD NOT BELIEVE=that this man

Who GREW UP down the road=was CAPABLE

Of these extraordinary things

 

DOING THE EXTRAORDINARY=where

Is he getting this stuff?

BELIEVING THE UNBELIEVABLE!

 

“’WHERE did this man=get these things?’

They asked=’What’s this WISDOM=that has

Been given him?=What are these REMARKABLE MIRACLES

He is performing?

 

Isn’t this the carpenter?=Isn’t this Mary’s son

And the brother=of James-Joseph-Judas and Simon?

Aren’t his sisters here with us?’=and they took offense

At him’”                                                                                                                                                         Mark 6:2-3

 

They IMPRESS Jesus=not by what is there

But what isn’t there=THEIR LACK OF FAITH

 

They just cannot seem to BELIEVE=THE UNBELIEVABLE!

But we can=WE KNOW he rose from the dead=we know

HE CONQUERED DEATH=and everything else in life

At faith value=BELIEVING THE UNBELIEVABLE!

 

“If anyone=causes one of these little ones--------

Those who BELIEVE in me--------to stumble

 

It would be better=for them=to have a

Large millstone around their neck=and be drowned

In the depths of the sea”                                                                                                                         Matthew 18:6

 

“The time has come’=he said=

‘The kingdom of God=has come near=Repent

And BELIEVE the good news’”                                                                                                   Mark 1:15

 

“I BELIEVE EVERYTHING=that is in accordance

With the Law=and is=written in the Prophets”                                                                       Acts 24:14

 

The Lord was AMAZED by=the

LACK OF FAITH=of his hometown

 

I wonder what he would think=of our world

And our COUNTRY TODAY==in this CRAZY

Mixed up world=that we live in=where HATRED

Is everywhere=and LOVE is in short supply

 

Nevertheless=MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS

It is up to each of us=TO BE A BELIEVER=

In our Holy Father God=and His Son Jesus Christ

FAITH=at face value

BELIEVING THE UNBELIEVABLE!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our ever MIRACLE WORKING=Holy Father God!
