THE CATHOLIC CHANNEL=called

Father Spitzer’s Universe

 

People call up=and make comments

And ASK QUESTIONS about FAITH

And REASONING

 

I don’t know about you=but

I don’t get atheists=I don’t get

Agnostics=How can we HAVE LIFE=in

Such a beautiful world=without our

Holy Father God?=Without our Jesus?

 

WHEN FAITH MEETS REASON=you

Can only come to one conclusion

There is=A HOLY FATHER GOD! The

GOD OF LIFE

 

“…….David has committed no offense

Against you=but has HELPED you very much

By his DEEDS”                                                                                                                                          1 Samuel 19:4

 

When I was LAYING there=on

My deathbed=when I was 22=something

In my gut=something in MY HEART=told me

THERE IS A GOD

 

My faith=my reasoning

MY GOD OF LIFE=tells me that

 

“But in your hearts=revere

Christ as Lord=Always be prepared

To give an answer to everyone

 

Who asks you=TO GIVE THE REASON

For the hope that you have=but

Do this with=genuineness and respect

Keeping a clear conscience……..”                                                                                              1 Peter 3:15

 

MY FAITH=tells me=there is a God

MY REASONING tells me=that there is HOPE

Beyond this world=I have lived 47 years

Since that deathbed experience=with

NO MEDICAL OR EARTHLY REASON WHY

WHEN FAITH MEETS REASON!

 

FAITH is believing=what you can’t see

Or prove=Reason is from the mind

There is a GOD OF LIFE=my faith

And reasoning tell me so

 

“Jehosaphat stood and said=

‘Listen to me Judah=and people

Of Jerusalem!=HAVE FAITH in the Lord=your God

And you will be upheld

 

Have FAITH in the prophets=and you

Will be successful’”                                                                                                                        2 Chronicles 20:20

 

“HAVE FAITH in God’=Jesus answered

‘Truly I tell you=if anyone=says to this mountain’

 

‘Go throw yourself into the sea’=and does not doubt

In their heart=but believes what they say=will happen

It will be done for them’”                                                                                                            Mark 11:22-23

 

“For in the gospel=the righteousness

Of God is revealed--------a righteousness

That is BY FAITH=from first to last=just

As it is written=’The righteous

WILL LIVE BY FAITH’”                                                                                                                      Romans 1:17

 

Jonathan had great FAITH in his friend David=

ENOUGH faith to stand up for him=to his father Saul

Jonathan helps Saul see=David has done nothing but

TRY and help him=Saul listens=with reason and faith finally

 

And we BELIEVE in God=when

FAITH MEETS REASON=because it

LIVES in our heart

 

Dear Lord=we pray=HELP US to

Have FAITH=and EXPEIENCE THE REASONS

That you still live=IN TODAY’S WORLD

WHEN FAITH MEETS REASON!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our EVER LIVING=ever loving

FOREVER EXISTING Holy Father God!
