DIGNITY FOR ALL PEOPLE

 

DIGNITY=FOR ALL PEOPLE

 

Some people have TREMENDOUS WEALTH=

In this world=They have everything that

You could EVER IMAGINE=and some people

Have VIRTUALLY NOTHING at all=That is LIFE

 

But there is a PROBLEM=when those

Who have it all=want the LITTLE BIT

That have so little=That WANT what you have

I HAVE a dream=where there is

DIGNITY FOR ALL PEOPLE

We are all sinners!

 

“Then David said to Nathan’=

‘I have SINNED against the Lord’”                                                                                            2 Samuel 12:13

 

Nathan told a PARABLE to David=about

That very thing=this has been GOING ON

Since the BEGINNING OF TIME=and it is WRONG

 

David was KING=he had everything=wealth

MANY women=anything a man=COULD ever want

 

Uriah was a SOLDIER=he had nothing=but

A BEAUTIFUL WIFE=But David thought

She was=the MOST beautiful woman he

Had ever seen

 

David stole Uriah’s life and wife=He

STOLE Uriah’s DIGNITY

DIGNITY FOR ALL PEOPLE

 

David wrote a letter to Joab saying=

“Put Uriah out in front=where the fighting

Is fiercest=then withdraw from him=so

He will be struck down and die”                                                                                                   2 Samuel 11:14

 

And King David wound up=with Bathsheba=

Uriah’s wife too=WHERE is the dignity?

Where is the FAIRNESS=in this life?

 

When Nathan told David the parable=David

Said the man that did that=DESERVED DEATH=

NOT realizing he was the man=DIGNITY=

FOR ALL PEOPLE=including those with

NEXT TO NOTHING

 

“She is clothed with=strength

AND DIGNITY=she can laugh at

The days to come”                                                                                                                          Proverbs 31:25

 

David was a sinner=I am a SINNER

We are all=SINNERS AT TIMES=no matter

How badly=we want to do=THE RIGHT THING

And that is the SAD TRUTH=the

Stinging truth=OF THIS WORLD

 

When we take a person’s dignity=we are

SINNING AGAINST GOD=as much as

Sinning against the other person

EVERY PERSON DESERVES=dignity and worth

 

That is the LESSON=of Jesus’ LIFE=the lesson

From the Holy Father God=

DIGNITY FOR ALL PEOPLE!

 

“No mortal comprehends=IT’S WORTH

It cannot be found in the land=of the living”                                                                                Job 28:13

 

“So don’t be afraid=YOU ARE WORTH=more

Than many sparrows”                                                                                                                            Matthew 10:31

 

“Rather it should be=That of

Your inner self=the unfading beauty of

A gentle and quiet spirit=which is

OF GREAT WORTH=In God’s sight”                                                                                         1 Peter 3:4

 

David STOLE=Uriah’s DIGNITY=his wife

And his life=but at least HE RECOGNIZED

He was a SINNER=in the end

 

My dear BROTHERS AND SISTERS=there

IS so much available to us=in this world=as much

As I would love it=we are NEVER going to live

In a world=where there is=DIGNITY FOR ALL PEOPLE

FOE WE ARE ALL SINNERS TOO!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our Holy and LOVING FATHER=who

LOVES US ALL EQUALLY=and wants DIGNITY FOR ALL!
