BELOVED=BY OUR HOLY FATHER GOD

 

Today=we read about the BAPTISM

Of Jesus=by John the Baptist=and what

THE FATHER SAID

 

But first=we read about

John’s MESSAGE=

“And this was HIS MESSAGE’=

‘After me=comes one=more powerful than I=

The straps of whose sandals=I am not worthy

To stoop down=and untie

 

I BAPTIZE you with water=but he will

BAPTIZE you=with the Holy Spirit’”                                                                                 Mark 1:7-8

 

And this is what=the Holy Father God

Said about HIS JESUS=when John=the cousin

Baptized Jesus=

“And a VOICE=came from heaven=

‘You are= MY SON=whom I love=with you

I am WELL PLEASED’”                                                                                                        Mark 1:11

 

And I am sure=that is what

OUR HOLY FATHER GOD=thinks of us too

Whether we were BAPTIZED as infants=as adults

Or both=WE ARE BELOVED=we are PLEASING to God

After all=we are the BROTHERS AND SISTERS

Of our Lord Jesus Christ

 

What a SOURCE of strength for Jesus

To BE=God’s only SON=and his BELOVED

And what a source of strength for us too=For

We ARE=BELOVED=by the Holy Father God

 

“LET THE BELOVED=of the Lord

Rest secure in him=for he shields him

All day long=and the one=the LORD LOVES

Rests between his shoulders”                                                                                                Deuteronomy 33:12

 

“I belong=TO MY BELOVED=and

His desire is for me”                                                                                                           Song of Songs=7:10

 

FACE IT=you are BELOVED=you

Are loved=by the Holy Father God

Just like his Son=Jesus=you=all of us

BELONG TO HIM!

 

Our Lord God=IS CRAZY about you=he loves you

With an EVERLASTING and infinite love

 

If we really BELIEVE=we are loved=by

Our Holy Father God=and his son Jesus=we

Should have much strength=and FEEL ENCOURAGED

To be loved in this world

 

“But it was because=THE LORD LOVED YOU=and

Kept the oath he swore=to your ancestors

 

That he brought you out=with a

Mighty hand and redeemed you=from

The land of slavery=from the power of

Pharaoh=king of Egypt”                                                                                                            Deuteronomy 7:8

 

“It was=not by their sword=that they

Won the land=nor did their arm=bring them victory

 

It was your right hand=your arm=and the light

Of your face=FOR YOU LOVED THEM”                                                                                   Psalm 44:3

 

And the HOLY FATHER God=calls Jesus=HIS BELOVED

Just as he calls us BELOVED=for we are the BELOVED

Brothers and sisters of Jesus Christ

 

Let us LOVE=with trust and gratitude=and LOVE

The Holy Father God=and Jesus=and our NEIGHBORS

For we are ALL the BELOVED=of the Holy Father and

Christ Jesus=In Jesus’ name!
