SINGING AND DANCING TOO!

(Our Whole Selves)

 

Our Jesus=Our HOLY FATHER GOD!

Wants us to GIVE=our whole selves to him!

 

Today we read about David=the King

Who does just that=plus SINGING AND DANCINC                                                                                              

GIVING OUR WHOLE SELF=to the Lord

 

“Wearing a linen ephod=DAVID WAS DANCING

Before the Lord=with all his might

 

While he and all Israel=were bringing up

The ark of the Lord=with shouts and

THE SOUNDS of trumpets”                                                                                        2 Samuel 6:14-15

 

I WISH=I could sing and dance

I would DO that=for our Lord too

Just like David=the BEST that I can do

 

Is GIVE my TOTAL SELF=in prayer

To God and Jesus=GIVING our total selves

To OUR Lord of Heaven and Jesus

 

“And this gospel=of the kingdom

Will be preached=IN THE WHOLE WORLD

 

As a testimony to all nations=and then

THE END will come”                                                                                                          Matthew 24:14

 

“For I have not hesitated=to proclaim

To you=THE WHOLE WILL of God

 

Watch over yourselves=and all

The flock=of which the Holy Spirit

Has made you overseers”                                                                                              Acts 20:27

 

David gave HIS WHOLE SELF=to

God in prayer=and he

BESTOWED GIFTS=on everyone too

 

WE need to give our WHOLE SELVES

To God in prayer too=and we should GIVE GIFTS

To God and others=HOW WONDERFUL=it is

 

Or would be=IF we could give=

SINGING AND DANCING=back to God=in PRAYER

OUR TOTAL SELVES TO GOD=everything

We are=everything we can ever be=FOR OUR GOD

Singing and dancing too

 

“I will be fully satisfied=as with

The richest foods=WITH SINGING LIPS

My mouth will praise you”                                                                                                      Psalm 63:5

 

“About midnight Paul and Silas=were

PRAYING AND SINING=Hymns to “od

And the other prisoners=were listening to them”                                                            Acts 16:25

 

“You turned my wailing=INTO DANCING

You removed my sackcloth=and

Clothed me with JOY”                                                                                                            Psalm 30:11

 

Dear Lord=we all=come to you today

IN TOTAL PRAYER=giving ourselves

TOTALLY to you=we give you

 

EVERYTHING we have in our hearts

LOVING YOU=with TOTAL abandon and joy

 

And we give you=OUR OWN PERSONAL GIFTS

SINGING AND DANCING=if we can=I cannot

 

So I give you=MY TOTAL LIFE=my total self

In prayer and=IN MY WRITING=Giving you

Our TOTAL SELVES Dear Lord

INCLUDING our singing=dancing and cooking

Just like David

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=Of our FOREVER LIVING=forever loving

THE RECEIVER of our gifts=Our Holy Father God
