SET FREE=STEP INTO THE LIGHT

SET FREE= STEPPING OUT INTO THE LIGHT Jesus lives and died For our sins But the question becomes- IF we have been set free By Jesus- WHY are we still living As captives- LIVING as PRISONERS in today's world “He has sent deliverance To his people He has RATIFIED his covenant forever Holy and awesome Is his name” Psalm 111:9 Supposedly we have been SET FREE Yet we are prisoners To anyone or anything That masters us BUT according to God- We should only have ONE MASTER-HIM How many of us Are truly living free? How many of us Are truly LIVING with God As NUMBER ONE in our lives?” “He upholds The cause of the oppressed And gives food to the hungry The Lord SETS PRISONERS FREE” Psalm 146:7 “The SPIRIT of the Lord Is on me Because he has anointed me To PROCLAIM GOOD NEWS To the poor He has sent me To proclaim freedom FOR the prisoners And recovery of sight For the the blind To set The oppressed free” Luke 4:18 We become PRISONERS To ALL kinds of things In this world: Alcohol-drugs-money-pornography- Science and money-whatever SOME of us are even captives To bad relationships-laziness-and lust IF GOD isn't in first place- In our lives=FOLLOWED closely by FAMILIES- We MUST ask ourselves WHY? We are free We must ask ourselves Why are we still prisoners To something in this world? We have been set free It is TIME for us To step forward INTO THE LIGHT “You Lord KEEP my lamp burning My God TURNS my darkness Into light” Psalm 18:28 “The path of the RIGHTEOUS Is like the morning sun SHINING ever brighter Till the FULL light of day” Proverbs 4:18 And when Jesus was presented in the TEMPLE-to Simeon- Simeon called him: “A LIGHT for REVELATION to the Gentiles And the GLORY- Of your people Israel” Luke 2:32 The Lord continues To send RELEASE to his people Even today The prison doors are WIDE OPEN We just need to STEP INTO THE LIGHT Robert P.
