Doubt

WITNESS 4-7-13 DOUBT Are you like me Do you ever have a little Just a tinge of doubt That God is alive Living in today’s world Living in you And Living in me Do we Have to be Like the great Saint Thomas Do we need to see To believe Doubts doubts Why should we have them The Lord Has always come through He came through For Abraham and Sarah He brought them a baby Even though Sarah was about 92 Doubts doubts No reason to have them God has always come through Just continue To hang on to your faith And he will come through For you too He came through for Moses Parted the Red Sea Even though Moses never lived to see it Joshua and his people Inherited the Promised Land Doubts doubts No reason to have them You have to know With a little faith God will always come through Thomas said, “Unless I see the nail marks In his hands and put my finger Where the nails were And put my hand in his side I will not believe it’ So Dear Lord We ask you To replace our doubt With faith And not to ask to see To believe But we know Like Thomas That that is what it will take For some of us to believe A week later Jesus appeared again Thomas was there this time Jesus said, “Thomas put your finger here ---see my hands Reach out your hand and put it into my side Stop doubting and believe” Seeing is believing For most of us But for some of us It just takes A little faith God has always come through Robert P.
