ALWAYS THERE

ALWAYS THERE

Do you recognize

The PRESENCE of God

And Jesus

in your life

Or do you

Go through moments

WHEN you are not sure

WHETHER God is there for you

It is

A common feeling

That we ALL go through

But I GUARANTEE YOU

That he is always there

For you and for me

In the 28th chapter

Of Saint Matthew's gospel

Jesus PROMISES THAT

“Then Jesus

Came to them

And said

'ALL authority

In heaven and on earth

Has been given to me

THEREFORE

GO and make disciples

Of ALL NATIONS

Baptizing them

In the name of the Father-

And of the Son

And of the Holy Spirit

And teaching them

To obey everything

I have commanded you

And SURELY

I am with you ALWAYS

To the very end

Of the age'” Matthew 28:18-20

We KNOW

That the Lord

Always keeps his promises

So we know

That he is with us

IN SPIRIT at least

In the deep recesses

Of our hearts

“WHEN she had said this

She turned around

And saw Jesus there

But did NOT know

That it was Jesus” John 20:14

I cannot fathom

HOW Mary Magdalene

The CLOSEST person to him

ON EARTH-

OUTSIDE of his own mother

Did not recognize Jesus

Maybe the PAIN

Was just too great

MAYBE that is what happens

To us

When we cannot recognize

Jesus and God

In our lives

The pain

IS JUST TOO GREAT

But we know

He is there

He told us

And we know

Jesus is LOVE

And in the XIII chapter of I Corinthians

It says

“LOVE always protects

LOVE always trusts

LOVE ALWAYS HOPES

LOVE ALWAYS PERSEVERES

LOVE NEVER FAILS” 1 Corinthians 13:7-8

Now go back

And substitute Jesus' name

FOR LOVE

HE is there for you

He is there

For me

And he is there

In a well-timed phone call

Or a hug

From a friend

JUST when

We think he has forgotten us

He is there

He is RIGHT THERE

God NEVER FORGETS

His promise

He is there

In spirit

He is there

In love

He is ALWAYS THERE
