GIVING AND RECEIVING

 

GIVING AND RECEIVING

GIVING to others and

RECEIVING from others=

Are two of our MOST

PRECIOUS DUTIES in life

I guess they are not duties

BUT BLESSINGS=

Something we should all do

With an OPEN

And loving HEART

“GIVE and gifts will be

Given to you

A good measure

Packed together=shaken down

And overflowing.......” Luke 6:38

Jesus' WORDS mix together

The abundant GOODNESS

Of giving and receiving

He teaches us the lavishness

Of GOD'S LOVE=

And that we can be

MORE God-like

THROUGH giving and receiving

“They read

From the Book of the Law

Of God

Making it clear

And GIVING the meaning

So that the people understood

What was being read” Nehemiah 8:8

“........so that your GIVING

May be in secret

Then your Father

Who sees what is done

In secret

Will reward you” Matthew 6:4

“But since you excel

In everything--------in faith--

In speech—in knowledge

In complete earnestness

And in the love

We have kindled in you--------

See that you also

Excel in the grace

OF GIVING” 2 Corinthians 8:7

There are all KINDS

Of things=that we can give

Physical gifts like

Food and clothing=

And emotional GIFTS

Like comfort and kindness

And even SPIRITUAL GIFTS=

Like hope and faith

And fortitude=

They are ALL IMPORTANT

But RECEIVING with an open and loving heart

Is just as important

“Heal the sick

Raise the dead-

Cleanse those

Who have leprosy

Drive out demons=

Freely you have RECEIVED

FREELY GIVE” Matthew 10:7

“So then

Just as you

RECEIVED Christ Jesus

As Lord

Continue to live your lives

In him” Colossians 2:6

Christ Jesus came to GIVE US LIFE

To the fullest=

So live your life

To the FULLEST=

In the name of

CHRIST Jesus=our Lord

RECEIVING LIFE from the

Holy God the Father=let us live=

LIFE IN FULL!
