MERCY=WHY IS IT SO HARD?

We live in a

Difficult world=where

NO ONE likes to

Cut another guy a BREAK

All you have to do

Is look at the TRAFFIC=

No one ever wants

Let another guy=

Or a girl=in for a break

MERCY=giving someone

An even break=NOBODY

Wants to do it

MERCY=why is it so HARD?=

But Jesus looked at it

ANOTHER WAY

“Go and learn the meaning

Of the words=

I DESIRE MERCY-

Not sacrifice

I did not come to call

The righteous

But sinners” Matthew 9:13

There is a preponderance

Of “MANDATORY MINIMUM SENTENCES”

Which prevent judges

From handing out what many think is

“Too much” mercy or leniency

We don't want to see

Anyone “GET AWAY”

With anything=we LIVE

In a hard-cold- cruel world

Yet we are ALL are

In need=of mercy=MERCY-why is

IT SO HARD?

God will treat us=in

The way=we love-

Forgive-and treat others

With or WITHOUT MERCY

“In his LOVE AND MERCY

He redeemed them

He lifted them up

And carried them

All the days of old” Isaiah 63:9

“He has shown you=

O mortal=what is good

And what does the Lord

Require of you?

To act justly

And to LOVE MERCY

And to walk humbly

With your God” Micah 6:8

“But because

Of his great love for us=

God=who is RICH IN MERCY

Made us alive with Christ

Even when we were dead

In transgressions--------

It is by grace

You have been saved” Ephesians 2:4

There is NOT a one

Of us=who has not done

Something stupid or wrong

In our lives

Given that=WHY is it

SO DIFFICULT to show

Others mercy?

WHY IS IT SO HARD?

Recently=it was a YEAR

OF MERCY

In the CATHOLIC CHURCH

Why don't more of us

LIVE LIKE JESUS?

Why don't more of us

SHOW MERCY to others?

Dear Lord=we pray=REMIND US

TODAY=that each person

Is a CHILD OF GOD=

Who needs and deserves

MY MERCY and compassion

In Jesus' name=and in the name of our ever=and ALL MERCIFUL FATHER!
