IN GOD=OR IN EMPTINESS

 

IN GOD=OR IN EMPTINESS

 

We LIVE our lives=In one

Of two ways=WITH GOD=or

Without God in our lives=PURSUING

The pleasures of this world

 

One leaves us WITH HOPE=the other

Leaves us EMPTY=in the end

That is what we get=WHEN

We live a life=BASED ON

Money=or power=or status

In this life

 

Saint Peter captured=THE ESSENCE

Of life=when Jesus asks him=if he too

Will leave=

“Simon Peter answered him’=

‘MASTER=to whom shall we go?=

You have the words

OF ETERNAL LIFE’”                                                                                                              John 6:68

 

I want my life=

TO END IN GOD=to end IN HOPE

How about you?

I have hope=FOR THE NEXT WORLD

How about you?=Hoping in God

IN GOD=OR IN EMPTINESS

 

Saint Peter CAPTURED it

So well=in this question to Jesus

 

IF we live=with the LOVE

Of Jesus=in our hearts

It leaves us=WITH HOPE

To go on living eternally=AFTER

We leave this world

 

If we CHOOSE=to base

Our lives=ON THE TRAPPINGS

Of this world=Money and power

We are left=FEELING EMPTY

At the end

 

There is ONLY ONE WAY

To go=If we hope=for the ETERNAL

And it is=WITH THE MASTER

 

”The student is=NOT

Above the teacher=nor a servant

ABOVE HIS MASTER”                                                                                                                   Matthew 10:24

 

“HIS MASTER replied’=

‘Well done=good and faithful servant!

 

‘You have been faithful=

With a few things=I will put you

In charge=of many things

 

Come and share

IN YOUR MASTER’S HAPPINESS’”                                                                                      Matthew 25:21

 

The QUESTION =is so easy

It almost seems=like a TRICK QUESTION

 

Do you want=TO LIVE FOREVER?

ETERNALLY with the Lord=and our

Lord and savior Jesus Christ?=or

Do you want=a little wealth=fame and fortune

RIGHT NOW=only to be EMPTY

For all of eternity

 

I HOPE=to live in God

ALL the days=of my life=how about you?

 

“The fear of the Lord=is

The beginning of wisdom=all

 

Who follow his precepts=have good understanding

To him=BELONGS ETERNAL PRAISE”                                                                                  Psalm 111:10

 

“Your word Lord=IS ETERNAL

It stands firm=in the heavens”                                                                                              Psalm 119:89

 

So when things get TOUGH

In this life=in this world

And they will=DON’T AIM

For the emptiness of this world

 

RUN to the Lord=

The MASTER Jesus=and the Holy Father God

LIVE IN GOD FOREVER!

 

There is NOWHERE=to run to

But to=THE LORD OUR GOD=CHOOSE ETERNAL LIFE!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LIVING=forever loving=Holy Father God
