SOMETIMES=MIRACLES TAKE TIME
MOST of Jesus’ miracles=
Were instantaneous=they happened
JUST LIKE THAT
Two instant miracles were=
The HEALING of the blind man=and
THE SAMARITAN WOMAN=but
The MIRACLE=of Nicodemus was gradual=
It took SOME TIME
For his conversion
As I SUSPECT=the miracles=of Jesus
In you and me=are=we CHANGE
As we GROW CLOSER=to Jesus
SOMETIMES=MIRACLES TAKE TIME
“……..for no one CAN
Do these signs=that you are DOING
Unless=God is WITH HIM” John
3:2
Most of us=LIKE Nicodemus
Have not experienced=a
DRAMATIC physical healing=or spiritual healing=
That doesn’t mean
THE MIRACLES IN US=are any less real=or effective
SOMETIMES=MIRACLES TAKE TIME
“You are the God=
WHO PERFORMS MIRACLES=You display
Your power=among the peoples”
Psalm 77:14
“Where did this man=get these things?’
They asked=
‘What’s this wisdom=
That has been given him?’=’What are
THESES REMARKABLE MIRACLES
He is performing?’”
Mark 6:2
Nicodemus is very AWARE=of
THE DIVINE POWER=of Jesus=yet
He doesn’t run=and TELL HIS FRIENDS
He WAITS until the night=to go
And talk to Jesus=and
ASK him some questions
I think like Nicodemus=some of us
COME to Jesus=a little more slowly=
Over time
SOMETIMES=MIRACLES TAKE TIME
“The Lord=is a refuge
For the oppressed=a stronghold
IN TIMES of trouble”
Psalm 9:9
“A friend=loves
AT ALL TIMES=and a brother
Is born=FOR A TIME
Of adversity”
Proverbs
17:17
Like Nicodemus=like me
I THINK=many of us=APPROACH Jesus
During our times of trouble=of adversity
But Jesus=gets INTO OUR HEARTS
And he=WORKS A MIRACLE=in us
Over time
SOMETIMES=MIRACLES TAKE TIME
Dear Lord= we PRAY
For all of us=who have left you
That we WILL COME BACK
And that you=will WORK
A MIRACLE IN US=over time
SOMETIMES=MIRACLES TAKE TIME!
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our EVER MIRACLE
WORKING=Holy Father God!
