WHAT CAN I DO TODAY?

 

WHAT CAN I DO TODAY

(For God and Others?)

 

Jesus’ teachings to us=while complicated

I think it=CAN BE=broken down to

SOME CORE TEACHINGS

 

And we should ASK ourselves

WHAT CAN WE DO TODAY!

To FURTHER God’s kingdom?

 

“WHAT CAN we do=to accomplish

THE WORKS of God?”                                                                                                              John 6:28

 

Jesus tells us=TO LOVE GOD

Above all things=so the

FIRST THING=we should do every day

Is to PRAY=and honor God

By reading the SCRIPTURES=or by

Attending Church service

 

And then he tells us=we should

LOVE OTHERS=as we love ourselves

FURTHERING GOD’S KINGDOM TODAY

By loving God=loving others

WHAT CAN WE DO TODAY?

 

“GIVE US TODAY=

Our daily bread”                                                                                                             Matthew 6:11

 

“Jesus answered him’=

‘Truly I tell you=TODAY

You will be with me=in paradise’”                                                                              Matthew 23:43

 

So AFTER=we have PRAYED to God

In the morning=we need to ask ourselves

HOW can we help others today?

 

WHO needs our prayers=Who

Can we pray for?=who needs a SMILE

Or a HUG=that we can pass on     

 

Can we run=an errand

For someone?=GIVE someone

A ride somewhere

WHAT CAN I DO TODAY?

To further God’s kingdom=in this world

 

“But encourage one another=DAILY

As long as it is called=’TODAY’=

So that none of you=May be hardened

By sin’s deceitfulness”                                                                                                      Hebrews 3:13

 

“Jesus Christ=is the same

Yesterday=AND TODAY=and forever”                                                                               Hebrews 13:8

 

Dear Lord=Jesus was THE SAME always=

In his love=for others=Help us to do

And be the same=in our love

 

Be being CONSISTENT=in our love

And in our forgiveness=and our LIVING

Of the beatitudes=for all others

 

Help us=TO DO=the work

For the kingdom=in our CORNER

Of the world

 

CHANCES are=we never

Will do anything world changing

With our lives

 

But we can BE CONSISTENT

In our love=and in our WORK

For the Kingdom of God

 

“Aaron is to present

The Levites= before the Lord

A wave offering=From the Israelites             

 

So that they may be ready

To do=

THE WORK=of the Lord”                                                                                                  Numbers 1:8

 

Dear Lord=we BELIEVE in you=

Help us to be DILIGENT

In our GOD’S WORK OF LOVE

For you today

 

In the name=Of our Lord Jesus=and our EVER LOVING Holy Father God!
