IN OUR=DAILY LIVES

 

Today we read about=

ONE of the most FABULOUS STORIES

After the resurrection

TWO MEN=on the road to Emmaus

 

Imagine this=a GREAT MAN

Has just died=a friend of yours

A PUBLIC FIGURE=known to all=

Dying a tragic-horrendous death=

And UNBEKNOWNST to you

He appears in your MIDST

 

“Were NOT OUR HEARTS BURNING=

Within us=while he spoke to us

ON the way……..?”                                                                                                              Luke 24:32

 

Cleopas and his companion=

Didn’t recognize Jesus=BUT HOW OFTEN

Do we=NOT recognize Jesus

In OUR every day miracles of life=of finance=

OUR SUCCESSFUL RELATIONSHIPS

With family and friends=MEETING

Jesus every day=IN OUR=DAILY LIVES

 

“Love and faithfulness=MEET TOGETHER

Righteous ness and peace=kiss each other”                                                                  Psalm 85:10

 

“Therefore this is what=I will

Do to you Israel

 

And because I will-

Do this to you=Israel

Prepare=TO MEET YOUR GOD”                                                                                            Amos 4:12

 

“After that=

We who are still alive=

And are left

 

Will be caught up together

With them=TO MEET the Lord

In the air”                                                                                                                              1 Thessalonians 4:17

 

FINALLY after Jesus=leaves them

They RECOGNIZE=it was Jesus

Who was with them=Because

THEIR HEARTS were burning=and because

 

They recognized him=when

JESUS broke bread=

Then he was gone

 

How OFTEN have we=

FAILED to recognize Jesus

In the daily events=of our lives

IN OUR=DAILY LIVES

 

Failing to see God=and Jesus

Face-to-face=EVERY DAY

 

“By their fruit=

YOU WILL RECOGNIZE THEM

 

Do people=pick grapes

From thornbushes=or figs=or thistles?”                                                                                     Matthew 4:16

 

“Many Lord=are asking’=

‘Who will bring=us prosperity?’=

Let the light=of your FACE=shine on us”                                                                                  Psalm 4:6

 

My dear friends=we live in

THE RICHEST COUNTRY=in the world=we pray

Dear Lord=help us TO RECOGNIZE

Your good heart=IN OUR BLESSINGS

 

As our hearts=BURN

With recognition and love=for you every day

Of our life

IN OUR DAILY LIVES!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our ever LOVING Holy Father God=the GIVER OF ALL!
