ALL IS WELL
ALL IS WELL
Have you ever
been brokenhearted
Have you ever been
CRUSHED in spirit?
I think that is something
We ALL experience in life
At one time
Or another
Yer-if there is a consolation
It is during those times
That the Lord is CLOSE to us
IF we just let him be
“The Lord is close
To the brokenhearted;
And those
Who are crushed in spirit
He SAVES” Psalm34:19
Do not panic
During these times
The Lord is very close to you
“Stay close
To the king
Wherever he goes” 2 Kings 11:8
ALL is well
Or at least-all WILL be well
I am moved
That God is ALWAYS
CLOSE to me and you
Particularly through health difficulties
Particularly through financial difficulties
And particularly through relationship difficulties
I have found it to be true
THROUGH all the difficulties
Of my life
“He HEALS the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds” Psalm 147:3
“We are hard pressed
On every side
But NOT CRUSHED
Perplexed-
But not in despair
Persecuted-
But not abandoned
Struck down-
But not destroyed” 2 Corinthians 4:8
WHEN things are difficult
Imagine God
EXTENDING his arms toward you
Or Jesus
Putting his arm around you
And saying:
“ALL IS WELL-
All will be OK”
And maybe a relative
And/or friend
Giving you a HUG
And saying that same thing
“All is well”
“All will be well”
Sometimes-when we are suffering
We feel SEPARATED
Separated from our loved ones
Separated from our friends
And separated from God
But I assure you
NOTHING could be further
From the truth
As my life attests
FAMILY and friends
Have stood up for me
And most of all-GOD
“For I am convinced
That neither death nor life
Neither angels or demons
Neither the present nor the future
Nor any powers
NEITHER height nor depth
Nor anything else in all creation
Will be able
To separate us
From the LOVE of God
That is in Christ Jesus
Our Lord” Romans 8:38-39
So the next time
You are feeling unsupported
Or disconnected from God and Jesus
Imagine them-standing right there
With their arm around you saying:
“ALL IS WELL”
