FILLED WITH JOY Are you FILLED With joy in this life? Or are you filled With The things Madison Avenue Is trying to sell you? The advertising community In our country TRIES to drive home The message That we are happier When we buy What they have to offer But I suggest to you That you can ONLY find Joy and happiness When you are buying What God is offering “Lord-when your glory appears- MY JOY will be FULL” Psalm 17:15 That new home Will not bring permanent happiness Neither will That new car Or even Even if you find A boyfriend or girlfriend That looks like the person In that advertisement Life is real SO ARE PEOPLE The fullness of joy Is in the GIVING Giving the way That God gives GIVING OURSELVES away for others Madison Avenue Tells us That happiness and joy Can be bought But NOTHING Is further than the truth The objects that we buy LOSE their luster almost as fast As we lose our money But GOD PROMISES a joy That can't be bought A happiness that is ETERNAL/FORVEVER “God has ASCENDED Amid shouts of joy The Lord Amid the sounding Of the trumpets” Psalm 47:5 “The prospect pf the righteous Is joy But the hopes Of the wicked Come to nothing” Proverbs 10:28 GOD'S JOY Is born within us It grows within us And it is a JOY Or happiness That lasts forever IT IS ETERNAL “I will sing Of the Lord's GREAT LOVE FOREVER With my mouth I will make Your faithfulness known To all generations” Psalm 89:1 “For riches Do NOT endure forever And a crown Is not secure For all generations” Proverbs 27:24 The happiness That comes from this world Is fleeting ONLY THE JOY That comes from God Lasts FOREVER Joy is like love The more you GIVE The more You have to give Joy costs nothing Except trust TRUSTING in God That he will bring it to us By living lives of LOVE=FORGIVENESS=and KINDNESS FIND YOUR LASTING JOY IN GOD Robert P.
