WHERE IS THE KINGDOM OF GOD?

WHERE IS THE KINGDOM F GOD? Where is The kingdom of God? Of course-from our early days We know That God is everywhere And therefore Our common sense tells us That the KINGDOM of God is everywhere too But of course-as ALWAYS Jesus' explanation is much more elaborate- In his teachings-and his words “Asked by the Pharisees WHEN the KINGDOM of God would come- Jesus said in reply, 'The coming of the KINGDOM OF GOD cannot be observed And no one will announce-' 'LOOK-here it is,' or 'there it is,' For behold- The KINGDOM OF GOD Is within you” Luke 17:20-21 I choose to BELIEVE The kingdom of God BEGINS inside each of us And it is UP TO US To spread the WORD In a nonthreatening way To everyone that we can So it begins with us WITHIN us So we should begin By turning our attention To our inner selves “The time has come,” He said The kingdom of God Has come near Repent and BELIEVE the good news” Mark 1:15 And in Mark 4:30 Jesus tells us That the kingdom of God Is like a mustard seed “Again he said, 'What shall we say The kingdom of God is like It is Like a mustard seed Which is the smallest Of ALL seeds on earth Yet-when planted It GROWS and becomes The largest Of all garden plants,........'” Mark 4:30-32 The KINGDOM OF GOD Begins in you Like a mustard seed And grows and grows Until you can't help- But take it out to the world- WHEREVER you go And to whoever you come Into contact with At that point The WORD OF GOD Becomes communal And ALIVE in social settings And we know-of course- God's word-Jesus word- Is alive and FULLY present WHERE 2 or 3 BELIEVERS Are present “For where two or three Gather in my name There am I with them” Matthew 18:20 So the KINGDOM OF GOD BEGINS in our heart And spreads to the whole world WHERE at least two or three Are gathered in his name Maybe-this is-TRULY- THE SECOND COMING OF GOD And it begins In the heart Of EACH ONE OF US Robert P.
