LETTING GO AND MOVING ON One of The most difficult things That we have to deal with Is LETTING GO Of our PAST And moving on For whatever reason We find it difficult To forgive others others And to forgive ourselves And MOVE ON With our lives Forgiveness is a STUMBLING BLOCK For almost everyone of us “BLESS those Who persecute you Bless and do not Curse them” Romans 12:14 I read a story once That emotional forgiveness Is LIKE the forgiveness Of a loan-by a bank This just means That we have to CEASE Demanding a payment That we BELIEVE Is owed to us It means That we no longer PURSUE the matter We are USING the energy For other matters We are officially LETTING IT GO We are moving it To an UNCOLLECTIBLE account If you will FORGIVE!-let go-and move on! “Help us-God our Savior For the glory Of your name Deliver us and forgive our sins For your name's sake” Psalm 79:9 “For if you FORGIVE Other people WHEN they sin against you Your heavenly Father WILL also forgive you” Matthew 6:14 LET GO of the past debts Against you And MOVE ON! FORGIVE! “Bear with each other And forgive one another IF any of you Has a grievance Against someone Forgive as the Lord FORGAVE YOU!” Colossians 3:13 FORGIVENESS Means letting it go It does NOT mean That we condone the action Or that we will OPEN OURSELVES UP To that same disrespecting treatment In the future To put it in bank terms again It does not mean We will lend that same person Any money again It is just a FREE PASS- A free ticket for ourselves To move on with our life So WHEN someone HURTS you- It may take awhile- But forgive them the hurt- LET GO!- And move on with your life Don't try to make them pay That belongs to God- Leave it in GOD'S HANDS And you will be free To move on- To do other- BIGGER & BETTER things Robert P.
