A LIFE (AND DEATH)
THAT GLORIFIES GOD!


The GREAT Saint Peter
Lived a life
That GLORIFIED God


And glorified his=
Friend-Jesus


And Jesus TOLD him something
That APPLIES to all of us
As we AGE


Age catches UP to us all=
But as it is=we
Can all
LIVE a life
That GLORIFIES God and Jesus


“........when you were YOUNGER
You USED to dress yourself
And go=
Where you wanted


But when you GROW OLD
You will stretch
Out your hands


And somebody else
Will DRESS you
And lead you


WHERE you do not
Want to go'


'He said this
SIGNIFYING=by what kind of death
He would GLORIFY GOD


And when he said this
He said to him'=
'FOLLOW ME'” John 21:18-19


As it happens
We KNOW Peter
GLORIFIED God in life


And in death=as he
Was crucified=LEGEND has it=
Upside-down=because he
Did NOT feel worthy to die
Like his HERO=Jesus


How about us?
WILL we live a life
That GLORIFIES GOD?
Will we DIE a death
That glorifies Jesus/


Will we LEAD a life and
FOLLOW JESUS=all the days
Of our lives?


“Let the Lord
Be GLORIFIED=that we
May see your JOY


Yet they
Will be put to shame” Isaiah 66:5


“And Mary said'=
'My SOUL glorifies the LORD'
…..............” Luke 1:46


How about you?
HOW about me?
Do OUR souls GLORIFY the Lord?


And will we DIE a death
That glorifies the LORD?


A LIFE AND DEATH
THAT GLORIFIES GOD!


We will all=GOD WILLING=
Live lives that JOURNEY
Through aging=illness=injury=
And WHATEVER comes our way
In life


Let us do LIKE Peter
And “FOLLOW JESUS”
BOTH in life and in death


“Come FOLLOW me'=
Jesus said=
'And I will send you
To FISH for people'” Matthew 4:19


Let us ALL follow Jesus
And live lives that GLORIFY him
In BOTH life and death


In Jesus' name and the name
Of HIS all glorious=FATHER
