THE MASTER GARDENER

THE MASTER GARDENER


I am
NOT much of a gardener=
Although I have
Family and friends who are


But MORE importantly=
I am a member of
The congregation of Jesus=
Who is=the MASTER GARDENER


As a FOLLOWER of Jesus
I hope=I make the CUT
As he is=CUTTING AWAY
His branches


“He takes away every branch
In me=that does not BEAR FRUIT


But every one that does
He prunes=
So that it BEARS more fruit” John 15:2


Jesus is the MASTER GARDENER
And he KNOWS how to
PRUNE each and every one of us


He knows who to TRIM
He knows who to CUT AWAY


And he knows=who and when
To let us GROW=in order
To BEAR much and MORE FRUIT


“'I am the TRUE VINE
And my Father
Is the GARDENER


He CUTS off every branch
That does not bear fruit
He PRUNES


So that it will be
Even more FRUITFUL
….....'” John 15:1-2


“Thinking he was the GARDENER,'
She said,


'Sir=if you have
CARRIED him away


Tell me where you have put him
And I will get him'” John 20:15


Jesus is
THE MASTER GARDENER


Sometimes in life
We think we are GROWING
In the right direction


But then something happens=
We lose a job=
Or a relationship=or
We are FACING a health crisis


This is not good
What is GOD up to?
HOW can we STILL
Bear fruit?


Sometimes we must WAIT
A season=or two
To bear the GOOD FRUIT


“That person
Is like a tree
PLANTED=by streams of water


Which YIELDS its fruit
In season
And whose leaf
Does not wither--------


WHATEVER they do prospers” Psalm 1:3


Jesus is the MASTER GARDENER
He KNOWS who and what
To prune=and know WHEN
To cut things away


So that we will BEAR
GOOD FRUIT for him=our LORD
And our God=
The REAL and true MASTER GARDENER


In the name of Jesus and in the name
Of our ALL-LOVING GOD
