THE POWER OF OUR EASTER FAITH


Our Lord=JESUS=makes it clear
That if we follow him
WE will be badgered
We will be persecuted


CHRISTIANS are being killed
All over the world
For their beliefs


“If they persecuted me=
They will persecute you” John 15:20


And the apostles
WERE the first followers
Who were persecuted
And even today=


MANY of us face
Harsh judgments and misunderstandings
Because of our FAITH


But we must face the CHALLENGES
Or how will we
Ever KNOW


The depths of our LOVE
And faith


For God and Christ
IF we are never tested


These tests=these crosses
SHOW us the
POWER of our EASTER FAITH


How much do you believe?
How much do I BELIEVE
In Christ's POWER and LOVE?


“One thing=God has SPOKEN
Two things=I have heard'
'Power belongs to God
And with you=Lord=
Is UNFAILING LOVE'” Psalm 62:11


“I have given you AUTHORITY
To trample on snakes
And scorpions


And to OVERCOME
All the power
Of the enemy


NOTHING will harm you” Luke 10:19


“For to be SURE
He was crucified
In weakness


Yet he lives
By GOD'S POWER


Likewise=we are weak
In him
Yet by God's power


We will LIVE with him
In our dealing with you” 2 Corinthians 13:4


We are ALIVE
We LIVE BY FAITH
We survive all persecutions
And harsh criticisms


By the power of God
By the POWER of Christ
And by the power of
OUR EASTER FAITH


How can we CARRY the CROSS
Like Jesus did=if we refuse
To STAND UP to harsh criticism
And judgments
For our FAITH?


“And WHOEVER=does not
CARRY their cross
And follow me


Cannot be my disciple” Luke 14:27


Today is a good day
To RECOMMIT ourselves to God
And to Christ


And to the POWER
Of our EASTER FAITH=it will
SUSTAIN US in difficult times


In the names of Jesus our LORD=
And his MOST LOVING-heavenly Father
