A HOLY VISION FROM GOD

Today we read about

Jesus=and some

Of the apostles

(Peter-James-and John)=

And a VISION=before them

On a HIGH MOUNTAIN

Elijah and Moses appear WITH JESUS=

And they talk with him-

And the Holy Father

Anoints him=as the SON

A VISION FROM GOD

Picture this=as if

You were there too

“Then came a cloud

Casting a shadow

Over them

Then from the cloud

Came a voice=

'This is my BELOVED SON=

Listen to him'” Mark 9:7

In the TRANSFIGURATION=

Jesus' clothes=

Become dazzling while

And he COMMUNICATES

With Moses and Elijah

NOT death=not time

Not anything

Can keep them apart

God is untethered=

A HOLY VISION FROM GOD!

“Who may ascend

The mountain=of the Lord?

Who may stand

In his HOLY PLACE?” Psalm 24:3

“To whom=will you compare me?

Or who is=my equal?

Says the HOLY ONE” Isaiah 40:25

“Therefore=I urge you

Brothers and sisters

In view of God's mercy

To offer your bodies

As a living sacrifice=

HOLY and pleasing to God--------

This is-

Your true and proper worship” Romans 12:1

IF there was ANY question

Left at all

About Jesus' divinity=

The VOICE of God announces

“THIS IS MY SON”

Not just a holy man=

But the SON OF GOD=

Appearing in a HOLY VISION

With Moses and Elijah

The apostles want

To Erect a SHRINE=and maintain

This sense of awe

Of this holy vision from God

But like so many visions=

It lasts ONLY a few moments

“So then=King Agrippa=

I was not disobedient

To the VISION

From heaven” Acts 26:19

In the end=there

Is only Jesus=

And the FATHER'S command

To listen to him

Let us LISTEN to Jesus' words

And FOLLOW him every day

Of our lives

For Jesus' whole life=

Was a vision

A HOLY VISION FROM GOD!

In Jesus' name=and in the name=of our FOREVER HOLY guiding Father
