THE WORK OF A LIFE TIME
Do you WANT to
Be like Jesus? Do you
Pursue Jesus? It is
A big task=it is
The WORK OF A LIFE TIME!
“People saw them leaving-
And many-
Came to know about it
THEY HASTENED THERE
On foot=
From all=the small towns=
And arrived at the place
Before them” Mark 6:33
I just admire Jesus=
ASIDE from the fact
Of who he was=the SON of God
I admire the man=and the SUBSTANCE
Of who he was=and his teachings
On love=FAITH=forgiveness=
Prayer and injustice
He was a man
Who TOUCHED PEOPLE=
Who brought people to love
It is=the WORK
OF A LIFE TIME
To be like Jesus=
The work of a life time-
To even ATTAIN
Some of the qualities
Of which he had
“You make known
To me=the PATH OF LIFE
You will fill me
With joy in your presence
With eternal pleasures=
At your right hand” Psalm 16:11
“For this command=is a lamp=
This teaching=is a light
And correction and instruction
Are the WAY TO LIFE” Proverbs 6:23
So what PROMPTS you
To pursue Jesus?= what prompts you
To try and BE like him?
For me=it is the fact=
That his MESSAGE-
RESONATES in my heart
I just want to
Be like him=
I just want to be
FULL OF LOVE-
Full of kindness=
And full of forgiveness
I want to EMBRACE
HIS TEACHINGS=
I want to live his teachings
It is=
THE WORK=of a LIFE TIME
“Whatever you do=WORK at it
With all your heart
As WORKING=for the Lord-
Not for human masters........” Colossians 3:23
“God is not unjust-
He will not forget
YOUR WORK=and the love
You have shown him-
As you have helped
His people=and continue
To help him” Hebrews 6:11
So IF you want=
To be like Jesus=
REMEMBER=it is
THE WORK OF A LIFE TIME!
But what is that?
Just STRINGING a bunch of todays
Of LOVE AND KINDNESS=
Forever and ever
Just like Jesus did
Dear Lord=HELP us to
FOLLOW your great love
In Jesus' name=and in the name=of our ever loving=EVER LIVING HOLY FATHER!
