OPEN TO GOD'S WORD

Today we hear about

A word=called EPHPHATHA=

Ephphatha means BE OPENED=

So my question to you is=

Are you listening

For GOD'S WORD=

Are you OPEN-

To hear God's word

“........people brought to him-

A deaf man

Who had a speech impediment........

He took him off

By himself........

Put his finger

Into the man's EAR=

And spitting

Touched his tongue

Then he looked up

To heaven and groaned

And said to him

“Ephphatha=that is BE OPENED

And immediately

The man's ears were OPENED

His speech impediment

Was removed=

And he spoke plainly” Mark 7:32, 33-35

Chances are=NOTHING like that

Is ever

Going to happen to us

So=if we are EVER

Going to be open

For the WORD OF GOD

We are=Going to have

To work for it

Let us BEGIN by praying=

Let us begin-

By OPENING UP our bibles=

Let us begin=by READING

The Word of God

Let us BE OPEN=to hear

The Word of God

Let us be open-

Let us hear

Let us LISTEN

For the WORD OF GOD

“........and that you may love

The Lord your God

LISTEN to his voice

And hold fast-to him” Deuteronomy 30:20

“Let the wise LISTEN

And add=to their learning

And let the discerning

Get guidance--------” Proverbs 1:5

We live in the TIME

Of Covid=we live in

A time of infections and DEATH

We live in a time

Of RACIAL INJUSTICE=

And at a time

WHERE each and everyone

Of us

Need to OPEN our ears

And LISTEN

For the Word of God

Let us ALL be open

To God's Word=let us

Read the bible

And let us listen

“My dear brothers

And sisters=take note of this

Everyone should be quick

TO LISTEN=slow to speak

And slow to become angry” James 1:19

Ephphatha=BE OPENED!=

Let us live the

WORD OF GOD

In Jesus' name=and in the name=of our ever LISTENING FATHER!
