AT THE HEART=OF IT
RECEIVING AND GIVING=is
THE HEART=of the CHRISTIAN LIFE
For you and me=PARTICULARLY FORGIVENESS
We SIN (Unintentionally=hopefully)=we tell God
WE ARE SORRY=he forgives us
And when others=WRONG US=we forgive them
Forgiveness=AT THE HEART OF IT=
The HEART of the Christian life=and story
“Then Peter came to Jesus=and asked
‘Lord=how many times=shall
I FORGIVE=my brother or sister
Who sins against me?=Up to 7 times
Jesus answered=’I tell you=
‘NOT seven times=BUT 77 TIMES’”
Matthew 18:21-22
We are=TO ACT
With others=in the SAME WAY
God acts with us
At Calvary=Jesus took it all
And he forgave us=HE LOVED ALL!
We are to=LOVE all others
We are=to FORGIVE ALL OTHERS
That is=AT THE HEART OF IT!
That is=what is MEANT
TO BA A CHRISTIAN=
AT THE HEART OF IT!
“However=if you suffer
AS A CHRISTIAN=do not be ashamed
But praise God=that
YOU BEAR THAT NAME” 1
Peter 4:16
I definitely have DONE
My fair share of WRONG in
This world=but God
Has ALWAYS FORGIVEN ME
Picked me back up=and put me
On the right PATH
It is MY JOB=to forgive others
WHEN they wrong me=just as
God has FORGIVEN ME
AT THE HEART OF IT=of
Being a Christian
Is receiving and giving
The GIFT
Of love and forgiveness
“But who can=discern
Their own errors?=FORGIVE
My hidden faults” Psalm
19:12
“And when you stand praying=IF
You hold anything=against anyone
FORGIVE THEM=so that YOUR Father
In heaven=may FORGIVE you your sins”

“FORGIVE US=our sins==for
We also FORGIVE everyone
Who sins against us”

And so=MY dear brothers and sisters
NEVER set yourself up=as a
JUDGE of someone
FORGIVE OTHERS=just as
Our dear Father God=and Jesus
Forgave us=UP on Calvary hill
EVERY DAY of your life
FORGIVING AND LOVING OTHERS=that is
THE HEART=of the Christian message=BE
A part of it
Live as a Christian=
AT THE HEART OF IT!
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of OUR EVER FORGIVING and
loving=Holy Father God!
